I had such dogcrap luck for a while, clearly I had saved up good luck.
I hatched 5 shiny Aerodactyls in 400~ eggs. The fifth one finally had pentaperfect IVs.

Figured I'd ask here since /wfg/ is still dead, could anyone help me trade a Beast Ball from Shield to Sword? I want to catch Eternatus in it and it's the only way to do so without blowing ~$30 on DLC I won't use

Man Gen 4 Masuda Method is pure pain, I've been opening eggs for three weeks and this isn't fun anymore.
With my luck I'm sure my shiny Ralts will end up being male.

I've gained a newly found appreciation for newer gen's odds, I don't care if shinies have less value in the most recent games, 1/1600 is stupid. I hate my autism for pushing me forward.

I value the pentaperfect mons I hatched in gen 6/7 quite highly.

I always used pokeradar for gen 4 shiny hunting. Eggs are too tedious to hatch.

It goes beyond being a Gen 4 exclusive thing. It's a DPPl EXCLUSIVE thing. HGSS doesn't have such luck.

I got my pair by sheer chance that I recognized the cashier from college.
I had no idea that I need to be aware of when the fuckass tcg releases are, so they were long since out when my buddy and I went... except for two codes their non-switch owning coworker was hiding.
