Japanese openings vs English openings
>>59296359The English openings of Pokémon are timeless masterpieces
>>59296359>under that gir's "CUT THAT OUT!"
>>59296382Based
>>59296359English ones fell off after Black and White
>>59296359I really like Journeys JP Openings, even if they were all the same, I really liked this one the best sung by the legend Takanori Nishikawa from T.M. Revolutionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRU82LDb1r0&list=RDrRU82LDb1r0&start_radio=1
>>59296359Mogged by Italian Kanto and Johto arcs openings.

>>59296822The only bad digimon opening is the US dub's.Other dubs, such as French or German, kept the original JPN music and thus are SOVLFVL
>>59296732Not quite fast enough to drift race to.
>>59296359Both of those shots are from Japanese openings though?

The last good English opening was "Born to be a Winner". "Master Quest" was just more of the same, and the Advanced openings are more of the same still. It's actually pretty clear they stopped putting the effort in when there stopped being extended versions of the songs. Hell, even BTBAW didn't get re-rerecorded for it's movie.
>>59298073I don’t even remember if Advanced had an album of songs for it like Kanto had with Pikachu’s jukebox and Johto had with karaokemon. If they do then I never hear anyone talk about it like they do with Viridian City or two perfect girls.
>>59298120There were a few original songs for Advanced besides the openings, but I don't know if they ever had a special segment like they did before. I stopped watching at Advanced. Anyway they were included on Pokemon X: 10 Years of Pokemon, which was released in 2006, including the S6-S9 opening, the Hoenn Pokerap (apparently that was a thing) and a couple of insert songs.
>>59296822>dubshit>ever good
>>59296382Only the first one. Incidentally, around the time the English openings got weaker the Japanese openings became more god-tier.
