Thanks to the anon who made a new thread. I was busy babysitting.
How do I even begin to build palette town and those 3 massive kits that come with it? Do I just destroy everything there till its flat?
>>59297319Palette is empty to begin with so I found it the easiest to work with. I started by making a couple houses, then moved my favorite mons there. Then I ended up making more houses to fit everyone. The legendary kits do require some teraforming work. I had to extend the land a bit into the sea in the desert area to fit the altar of flame, and make an island in the pond for the freezing chambers.
Every Poketuber is all like>Curry has meat! But where does the meat come from? What is the meat made of?Beans, idiot. Its all vegetarian shit made from beans.
>>59297713tofu good
does anything speed up litter production?when i got a trapinch he drpped like 40 clay in one day, then his production plummeted to like 2-4 per day
>>59298945Its truly a mystery. The same thing happened to be except clay production dropped to 0. The weird this is sometimes bricks will appear in the community box but never clay.
I swear some Pokémon are just glitched. Waiting on the last form of Tatsugiri but it just will not show up after days and days of its habitat just waiting for it. Even been putting carrot bread on Mosslax's plate every day and it doesn't help.
>>59299709Took like 2 weeks for the last form to spawn for me, with 3 habitats set up.
>>59300209Same. Its been MONTHS however and NEITHER PLUSLE OR MINUN has spawned. WHYYYYYYYY!
I took inspiration from that one video and made an underground club in my town.>>59300573I had Minun spawn almost immediately. Plusle hasn't come home yet.
>music gets more upbeat, audible, and reminiscent of its inspired track the more stuff you build/change in an areawow that's cool
It's the only block building game with modern block that I'm aware of, that's remarkable. But I find it a bit empty overall, I don't see the incentive to max out Pokémon's comfort and they don't interact much with their surroundings, nor do they roam around much. 20 pokemon per area is too little. It's not a bad game but it can be even better... Fingers crossed for a sequel that expands town mechanics or that the surely to come DLCs do.
>>59297289Someone should throw a party on Official /vp/ island
>>59300829They do seem to roam around more when you build more stuff. There's also cute moments like pic reated.
Do cloud islands have their own dream islands, or are resources finite for multiplayer games?
>>59299709First two Tatsugiris showed up within like not even 2 hours. The third one hasn't showed up yet. It's been almost a week. Something really doesn't seem to work right.>>59300819The music is generally really good imo. The subtle use of the town leitmotifs made me feel way more pleasant nostalgia than any amount of KANTOOOO and CHARIZAAARD shilling has ever done.
>>59300209>>59300966It's especially annoying because this last Tatsugiri form is the very last Pokémon I need to fully complete the Dex.
Need an update soon, game is feeling quite bland currently
>>59301093Supposedly we may be getting a Direct in mid-June so hopefully some big update will be talked about.
How has Ariados still not spawned on the /vp/ island? What an asshole.
>>59300819The music also take inspiration from other Nintendo games. I swear I’ve heard Animal Crossing tracks and at least in Rocky Ridges some Zelda music. Specifically OoT Goron City.
>>59301093Just do something fun.
>>59301383Takes too much to plan something like that out. It's tough to make anything that actually looks good in this game.
Staircase concept purely for looks. It doesn't function well if you want to use it as an actual staircase.https://x.com/nanoka_k/status/2058169314113703971
Anyone have any nice building tutorials? Ones that show step-by-step processes of making good structures or buildings?
>Eeveelutions have wildly different ideal habitats, some negating each otherIt makes sense but I didn't consider that. That kinda fucks over my plan to have them all live in a house. What'd you guys do with them?
>>59301726>What'd you guys do with them?Have them all live in a house. As long as my towns are still Level 10, anything goes.
>>59301857>>59301726But you can't make a house big enough for them all.
>>59301884Just place some underground 2x2 houses or their habitats in a larger structure. I have about 20 Pokemon living in this "house" even though the game doesn't count it as one.
>>59301884nta but you can make two houses directly sandwiched next to eachother there's a trick you can do where you build a tiny 4x4x3 house that's only 1 block tall and bury it in the ground or under the floorboards, so that you're free to do whatever you want with the real houseit's also the only way to build big houses sometimes, because the actual upper limit on what the game will accept as a house is kind of tiny. If you want to make a house that's spacious or extravagant in any way, it's almost guaranteed the rooms will be too big for the game to count as a house.
>>59301857Yeah but I have autism and do not rest until everyone is at "awesome".>>59301884You can, by placing their habitats into the house. If you just have a big table with their food items, they can live there.
>>59301898How do you even make shit like this?
>>59301901as an addendum to this, you still need to put 3 pieces of furniture in the tiny underground house BUT make sure that none of them are relaxation (chairs, beds, etc) or toys, because your mons will try to path to them and then get randomly upset. Fill them with non-interactable objects like decorations.Lighting can be an issue too, some mons get upset if their environment is too dark and a part of how the game decides that is by checking the tiny hole house you put under the floorboards, in which case fill it with lights to make it valid (or don't if they hate light)
>>59301907I didn't have a plan, I just fucked around for a long time adding, changing, and removing shit until I got something I liked. Also being an autistic NEET loser helps I guess.
Decided to split the Eeveelution homes into three. Eevee, Flareon and Sylveon want warm, Jolteon, Espeon and Leafeon want bright, so those are two triples. The only question is if the other three are happy together in a cold, dark AND humid place.
>>59302009a three story building could be cool, with the dank cool basement, the warm first floor, and the bright atrium rooftopthat might not be what you had in mind but that's what im imagining and now i want to make the eevee house, too
>>59302019Not what I had in mind but it does sound pretty cool yeah. Maybe I'll try that then, thanks for the idea.
>>59301857Have most of them live here. Flareon lives in a cafe he runs, and Leafeon lives in the fields.
I saw a way to make the yellow cottage a high rise by stacking two of them. I’m going to try it out on Bleak Beach and see how it looks.
I made the former garden behind the restaurant an outdoor dining area.I wish we had flat glass roofs and walls to close it in but keep the nice view.
>>59302617I tried a glass roof solution. There's no door inside the actual space since I'm not sure how tall you want it. You can magnemite the glass to your liking. If you don't like it I can revert it back to how it was.
>>59302769That's perfect actually, I just added some doors.I never would have thought to use office tables for a roof.
>>59301926I also don't really plan stuff, and just figure things out on the go.
how the heck do you work on or above water?if water is more than 2 blocks deep i get 4 seconds of building time before i drowntrying to glow up the Bleak Beach area is a fucking nightmare, I have blocks floating around everywhere in the waterways that i can't pick up without building land bridges that ruin the waters surfacewhy the fuck cant we just pick shit up while laprasified
I am in the process of making a Big museum thing for fossil pokemon and big and small artifacts
>>59303322Beat the game to get the Magnemite transformation
>>59303340I wish I was as ambitious as you guys haha. I feel accomplished having made a few houses and a bridge.
>>59303384Does magnemite allow you to also pick up, place, and break things?I assumed it didn't, since none of the other transformations allow that unless you count being able to ram into things as graveler to break them
>>59303410It does and it makes a difference.
>>59303411aw man, i guess i need to hurry up and do the last step(s)I have been stalling on the final step because i really dont want to risk the game being over i just want to build cool pokemon homes forever
>>59303410Yes, it can even pick up things you normally can't pick up, like rocks and trees.
>>59303421>i just want to build cool pokemon homes foreverSame anon, same.
>>59297289Pokopia takes place after Shadow Deoxys leveled the entire region during its rampage

omg the party poppers
After a week of no Tatsugiri, I decided to build a Beach Set in all biomes to see if that helps somehow.
Does anyone know if Starry-sky walls count as light sources?
>>59301726Vaporeon is living with Articuno and Suicune in a water-themed house, Jolteon is living with Zapdos and Raikou in an electric-themed house, and Flareon is living with Moltres and Entei in a fire-themed house. The others don't have houses.
>>59304067I'll answer your question wth a question of my own: do they emit light?
>>59304194I don't think so, but they do glow in the dark.
>>59303756I didn't get the curly one for ages so I time travelled to 2028 and it showed up
>>59304786It's the Stretchy one for me. At this rate I might just time travel, I sincerely feel like this is some sort of glitch since these fuckers are only "rare" appearances and I'm using the Carrot Bread to boost the chances every day.
Why do certain blocks get painted white after awhile?
>>59305344I've never heard of this happening. Examples?
>>59305413These stone flooring tiles I have selected somehow got painted white while I was making my autistic storage room I posted last thread. Underneath those specific stone floor tiles were wireless power transmitters which themselves were above sand blocks.
>>59305521If it keeps happening after you replace the blocks then it's probably a glitch or something. There might be more factors but I made a setup based on what you said to see what happens.
>>59305521Your Switch 2 is haunted.

>>59303340Add more to the Big museum thing for fossil Pokémon I make and add Aerodactyl there
really wish it was possible to refine cave stone or other rock blocks back into Stones so I could upcycle them into the blocks i actually wantthen i might have an excuse to open up the mines under WW or RR instead of just leaving them abandoned
>>59306016Stones are super easy to get though. My Aurorus litters a ton every day.
>>59306069i have all 5 big dinosaurs in one room and i get like 20-50 per daya big build can consume hundreds of stone
Apparently the music becomes more full the more you build. I'm two months into this game and it's still very light.
Is there an island where I can find all the dry plant variants? I dont see them in the all item island that OP shared.
>>59306294I've only noticed the music change when I build a full sized prefab house and claim it as mineThen it plays the city's original musicBut only when you are near that prefab house
>>59305344Not sure but I've noticed the same thing with my hair lately.

>when you come back to find that your Pokemon roommates left the faucet running again
How do I get more buildings kits for things like small office or concert stage? The shop is sold put and they never appear in the water.
>>59307400RNG in water and, even more rarely, Trade Pokemon's shopsIf you're REALLY desperate, you can find out how to build one from scratch
>>59307430I have been giving Mosslax Flavorful Soup for a week now, and still no kits in the shop.
>>59303421You can lose the game? Is there a game over screen?
>>59302595Tested it. Doesn’t look that bad. I did mess up how I wanted it positioned though.
>>59301726I paired my Eevees across Palette Town for now, I might make one area for all of them later. I kinda like my pokemon living outdoors (though I need to make a partial covering for Flareon and the campground kitchen)
>>59307806Nice experiment, looks pretty good. You gonna tear the whole thing down? It looks kinda funny next to the lookout.
>>59307840I've left most of my Pokemon in their habitats too. I think it looks closer that way to a society that Pokemon would build for themselves. My Eevees are huddled together around the Pokemon Center, though. For Flareon I surrounded its habitat with stacks of lava blocks with lit firepits on top.
>>59307845Probably not. I like to think of it as a luxury high rise that has its own private beach.
WHY DOES THE STONE COTTAGE NEED THREE EMPTY ROWS OF BLOCKS AROUND ITI CAN'T BUILD ANY OF THESE COTTAGE PREFABS BECAUSE I NEED TO CLEAR A MILE WIDE RADIUS AROUND THEM FOR NO REASON

>>59309293You have to paint the partition through Smeargle.
These little sky rail gondolas are slow as hell and pokemon don't even use them on their ownIt's a shame but I'm replacing them all with bridgeswhats a cool bridge material? I was thinking of trying to simulate a suspension bridge using electrical pole wires
>>59309560Pokemon WILL use them, I've seen Rowlet ride one back and forth a few times for no reason. They still suck ass, though.
>>59309178The blocks are unbreakable until you fill the pokedex
>>59308558Ladies and Gentlemen; We got her.
With all the issues people seem to have with Tatsugiri and others, I’m wondering if some Pokémon are locked behind having a certain number of Pokémon registered.
>>59309857I think it might be more like counterpart Pokemon are less likely to show up after the first one moves in, hence why the Tatsugiri, the fireflies, and the sea slugs seem to be the main problems.
>>59309891I meant as far as the counterpart Pokémon. Though I had no problems with the fireflies and sea slugs. The last Tatsugiri and Plusle took a while. And so did Empoleon.
Is there anything in particular we need for the /vp/ island?
>>59310537Maybe make it look more like a livable town than village in the country side. There's just a bunch of habitats around and some random buildings.
>>59310545I figured that would be the goal once we have everything. We have 100 Mood for Volcanion if the party pot is in the center area, and 89 if near the cafe. Not sure about other spots. I’m putting the pot in the chest behind the furnaces for now.
>>59310556Actually I’m putting it in the drawer behind the Pokémon Center. Along with the required ingredients. And why are we giving Mosslax beans if we are trying for spawns?
Is /vp/ low on pokemetal or did it get moved somewhere else? I'll go farm some next time.
>>59310599It's been moved to the small chest right behind the crafting table last I checked.

what are the rules on /vp/ island? how do you decide who gets what resources and who gets to decide what pokemon live where?i kinda wanna join in the fun now that i've amassed enough cool recipes to build cool things, but I'm afraid of hogging resources
How do I deal with the fact that I don’t have even a tenth of the creativity and ability to design cool builds like some other people out there? All I can do is make generic blocky buildings with zero appeal and it kills me on the inside even though I want to make cool builds
>>59311107steal little bits that you like about other peoples designs and incorporate them into your owneventually you get a feel for it and just start becoming your own thing
>>59311102Main rule is "Don't destroy the island"Resources are shared and Pokemon are moved as needed/if someone builds a better home for them.Which reminds me, we're coming up on completing the Dex so we need to start figuring out where to put the massive bird shrines.
>>59311138you’ve ALREADY completed the dex??damn, i just showed up here before the island was made and i can’t fathom unlocking so many pokemon so quicklythen again, im more of the autistic builder type so i tend to not bother looking for a pokemon unless i have some specific idea for how to house them
>>59311107>All I can do is make generic blocky buildingsSame, having a blast with it.
>>59311167Last I checked we have like 8 unique Pokemon left to go and 5 of them are Legendaries.
>>5931119910 left. Raikou, Volcanion, and the birds. Two fossil Pokemon, Servine, Volbeat, and Ariados.
>>59308558Finish the floor of the 2nd floor>>59311138>we need to start figuring out where to put the massive bird shrines. Someone in the last thread said maybe put it on an island in the skyhttps://arch.b4k.dev/vp/thread/59251011/#59280484
>>59311138id be really worried that id start accidentally paving over someone else’s work or a pokemon habitat while trying to build something
is pokedex progress shared between single player and multiplayer?if i join a cloud island with mons that i haven’t unlocked in single player, is there any way to track which ones i haven’t spawned yet?
The duck is having seizures in his sleep.
This didn't take anywhere as much as anons made me think. Only ~1 month in between the two mice.
>>59312231>~1 monthPretty ridiculous, though. Like what's the point of making it possible to take so long just for one Pokémon? Like as long as you have the habitat, putting on massive waiting periods is just annoying.
It might be a good idea to not have litter Pokémon in the underground hidden homes. Because I think they drop their stuff in there. Went to get leaves from Venusaur and can’t find any.
>>59311107Literally just copy cool builds other people made. You'll get a feeling for what looks good eventually if you just try to recreate things you think look nice.Even just shit like balconies or L shaped buildings can be a huge stepup from commieblock buildings that are literally just a square/rectangle.
>>59310790So why beans and not at least Leppa Salads to get more spots?
>>59312457I didn't think about that. I wondering why some litter mons in my home weren't dropping but they used to drop before even with an underground home. In the process of moving the home, I forgot to honey them so now I can't find them. I'm sorry.
>>59313385Never mind. I got them back. The home is ugly though.
>>59309560I wanted to use mostly sky rails to connect palette town, but the pokemon don't use them enough for my liking. So I'm gonna make some connecting rails and bridges for more circulation. Gonna make it out of Iron tiling as of now.
I'm wondering what they had in mind when they made rocky ridges 90% volcanic ash and no efficient way to remove it all.

What is wrong with this dinosaur
is this game worth getting a switch 2 for now, before wind and waves and maybe some other random shit?
>>59314480I bought a Switch 2 on day 1 for another game but if I didn't, Pokopia would be my reason to buy it. I like how it gives you a more vivid and personal pokemon experience than the main games, and how you don't need to be good at gaming to have a blast with it.
>>59314512I'd really only be getting for it for pokopia and replaying scarlet/violet on highest settings. I played it on PC emulator and it was still jank.I'm not even interested in star fox or ocarina of time remake.does pokopia have much replayability or post game content?
>>59314551honestly pokopia is the type of game i could probably play on and off for my whole life and i might not ever consider myself truly done with itbut i could kind of tell that from the moment i laid eyes on it, the fact you're asking these questions casts some doubt because I feel like it's pretty clear what kind of game pokopia isit's sandboxey sim game where you build towns and habitats for pokemon, if that sounds cool to you then go for itif not then maybe not? I cant tell you what kinds of games you'll like
>>59314551If you count building pretty much anything you can imagine and hanging out with your favorite mons as replayability and post-game content, I'd say it has a lot.
>>59314471Walnut sized brain, please understand
>>59314611it does sound cool but it also sounds like something you'd get bored of after a while, kind of like how the animal crossing hype dropped hard after the pandemic
>>59314763perhaps the game is not for you then, cause I feel the opposite way. The sandboxy gameplay means there's way more reason for me to come back to a game like this than almost any other type of game.obviously you'd get bored of it eventually, just like literally every other game in existence.and fwiw, the OP isn't bullshitting; the game really isnt anything like animal crossing especially once you get into the meat of it. I think people just make the association because they both involve cute animals in a village.
>>59314763What games do you usually play? For me, outside of pokemon its just gachaslop. I tried emulating animal crossing for like 2 days and it didn't click with me but from what I hear everyone say Pokopia is a different kind of sim. The minecraft mechanics are the main draw and what makes the game infinitely replayable. One thing that always disappointed me with mainline Pokemon is how short the game is and how the moment I finish the main story, I find myself bored with it. With Pokopia it's the opposite, the main part of the game starts after the credits roll. I personally felt lost at first, but then I started on a small project while treating it as a game arc and suddenly my Pokopia experience transformed, pun intended. Then my first project naturally flowed into another one and the another one as I kept discovering how the game works and getting a little better at building stuff. And I'm still not even done with the one town I'm woring on. Three things I'd encourage you to keep in mind are:>the game plays best when you take it slowly>don't let other people's crazy builds discourage you, just have fun doing things your way>small steps matterThat's all I can tell you, hope it was helpful.
>>59309891I can attest to having issues with all three of those Pokémon groups.
>>59309891I moved my Minun from skylands to palette after he spawned. Not sure if that had anything to do with Plusle appearing as soon as he did.
I built a hospital for the Chansey family (and Audino) next to the dojo. Also I hope changing the host by leaving didn't fuck up Eggs' Dream Island trip.

>>59319652Lucky, I'm still waiting on mine. Mosslax is such a lazy fuck, the Carrot Bread I keep giving him isn't doing shit.
>>59319652>Volbeat finally showed up after almost a monthOnly 1 tatsu down unfortunately
>>59320183Use crouton salad (leaf + bread), it's higher level than carrot bread.>>59320418Somehow I had both Volbeat and Illumise before I even finished the game. I didn't even know they were supposed to be rare.
>>59320423Shoot, I didn't know that. I'll give it a shot.
I installed an elevator in freezing chambers that leads to an elevated railway. Hopefully it will make mons actually use that huge ass structure.
I wish more kits had open homes that worked well. As in, homes where you just walk in without a loading screens. The kits we have are so tiny, the homes feel so cramped where barely one Pokémon can even fit in them.
This game needs>customizable blueprints>more reasons for the Pokémon to move around>more spawns in the overworld>an incentive to max out a Pokémon comfort, for example a unique reward for each Pokémon (instead of, for example, RNG unlocks...) And then it's perfect
>>59320892Don't forget a proper storage system.
>>59320898.. Oh yeah, that too...But still, the bones are there. It's a bit cumbersome to work on big projects though, and I think it needs two more city mechanics in it... I hope the DLCs or sequels expand on these aspects.
Is there a way to call Kyogre?
I'm 200 hrs in and just realized that getting environment level past 5 unlocks more meaningful stuff in the other zones. I've been mining/designing the first zone this entire time (after beating the game). Is there a fast/easy/efficient way to get zones to 10, without putting in a lot of effort or fucking up my major build in the starter zone?
>>59321209Just find more mons and make good homes for them. You don't have to build them houses for now if you don't want to, just dump shit they want next to their habitat. Legendaries give a huge bonus to environment level if they're happy, so definitely try to find those.
>>59321209It's surprisingly trivial. I just talked to the lowest happiness mons everyday and asked what they wanted and went from 5 to 10 in all zones in 3 days
Is the farm dropping beans on the /vp/ island? I need to know if it needs to be fixed. but also idk if you guys are putting food in kitchen area nearby.
>>59321255>3 daysI was hoping to do it in like 1 hr>>59321242how important/much of a bonus do you get for building houses period vs houses they like? couldn't I also just ferry over a ton of pokemon in section 8 houses from zone ot zone after getting 10 in each and getting the rewards from pc?
>>59321432>how important/much of a bonus do you get for building houses period vs houses they like?I don't think building houses does anything at all, it's all about Pokémon happiness. Ask them what they want, look up what stuff they like, look up 1 toy, 1 relaxation and 1 decoration item from the categories they like, and give them food of their fav flavour. That raises happiness to Great in most cases. Raising it to Awesome is better but often needs habitat requirements like dark, humid etc which may require specific locations. You could just move a lot of Pokémon from WW to the other areas, but you'll need to make them all houses/habitats that like like to raise it significantly.
>>59321432>I was hoping to do it in like 1 hrWell, you could time travel. Or just not ask them and look up their favorites like the other anon mentioned
>>59320646I feel like the small office, yellow cottage, and maybe log cabin are good. Everything else does feel cramped.>>59321402I can check. How does it work?
>>59322217Never mind. The beans weren’t available as they had been harvested already.
Whoever made this on the /vp/ island, stop being better than me at this game.I also started a little build project, and am almost done. It is the north east I think. The eyesore will standout when you find it.
This game captured the Pokémon aesthetic better than most games after gen 5.
>>59322616It was made by people who know what they're doing.
>stone arches are the only arches I've unlocked so far>all my buildings incorporate a stone brick design at the very least because arches always stand out next to sharp blocksman why wont any other type of arch block drop for me, I'm basically at the mercy of the daily shop system now because rippling waters only give me seeds and shit
This game has so many layers of customisation, I'm still learning how everything works.
I finished the 3rd floor of the museum>>59322391>I also started a little build project, and am almost done. It is the north east I think. The eyesore will standout when you find itit looks good, senpai desu
>>59319741The Tinkatower of Babel has fallen and has been replaced with steel and concrete. It still looks a little messy (on purpose), but at least it's not a literal tower of trash that looks like it could collapse at any moment.
>>59323139And despite her crimes, Tinkmaster gets to live at the top.
>>59322961Aren’t there only the stone arches and the bridge arch?>>59323026Don’t lie to me.
Anyone have a good tutorial to build the berry farm we have on The Box? I just noticed a lot of windows, sensors, and smooth stones.
>>59318721The reason why I'm reluctant to start working on areas that aren't Palette is because of all these half broken structures that need to be demolished before building something new.
>>59324606It worked in most areas without tearing everything down. Take the museum in RR for example. Sure, it's broken, but you mostly just need to remove rubble and fixe holes in the walls, ceilings and such. It's quite some work, but you can mostly just add onto the existing structure and remove some stray blocks to fix it.In SS, the ground is extremely shifted. Some buildings were split vertically and shifted like 10-50 blocks apart. It's impossible to rebuild without tearing at least significant part of a building down, often just to even the ground. You have to rebuild from almost-scratch AND you need to terraform all the shit around and beneath it. It's so much more work, it's insane. It is nice that they added Palette Town so you can just nicely build your own structures. The game would've been worse without it.
>bought switch 2 & pokopia>thinking my 10+ year old (probably 15?) hd vizio just can't cut it anymoremaybe time to buy a 4k tv...enjoy these games fully.
Finally got on the general server.
Hungry dino
What could a DLC possibly add to be hype other than new areas and mons? The best part of the game already isn't the main story but what you do after it so I wonder how they could improve on that part.
>>59325775I want new furniture, it's also pretty disappointing you don't get recipes for event items. At the very least the tent build should be.
If anyone is curious about the random checkered square in The Box, that's me being creative. Feel free to break or move away.
>build cool loft bed in a mansion>indoor pathing is broken and pokemon can't use stairsaw maninstanced houses just kind of suck for doing anything cool, don't they?
>>59326017>pokemon can't use stairsYou mean in loading screen houses? I've only made one recently and haven't noticed that part yet.
>>59325775yeah more furniture, maybe more mons, new maps,Personally I'd love to see more functional gizmos like gondolas and maybe more objects and interactables that can make pokemon use them more consistently.Dedicated items to make open air homes would be cool so people can stop making 2x2 vietcong holes under houses. More doors, or objects that function like doors, to make building valid houses more accessible and flexible.I'm not holding my breath for any dlc though.
>>59326058>objects and interactables that can make pokemon use them more consistently. How many of them are there? I just recently placed the punching machine and the mons started using it.
>>59325775>a better storage system>powerup for Magnemite transformation for AoE destruction>have the bigger legendaries move in as well, perhaps with specific housing requirements like bigger size and special doors>dive ability>tools for automated farming>removing instanced houses from the game lol
>>59326599>AoE destructionI've heard that you can launch Electrode from a canon, is that real?
>>59326657Yes you can, but it's very inaccurate and more or a joke gimmick than actually useful.
Wtf are Charging Stations even for? I just noticed you can buy them at the Pokémon Center. I thought the one in Bleak Beach was unique and for story progress purposes but apparently they have some sort of use?
>>59326870It lets Peakychu use her ability, which wakes up sleeping Pokemon for an hour or something.
>>59326870The blips also tell you how much electricity you have left to use.
>>59326982So you need Peakychu do use it?>>59327094What do you mean with "left"? Like how many more things I can connect before I run out of power?
>>59327208Yes exactly
Rebuilding the last island in Skylands is so tedious. Think it might be better to just rip down most of the buildings on it.
What is wrong with this blob? She's been saying this for 3 days now.
>>59328657She's hungry
>>59328657She has her period
No Raikou for The Box again today, damn.
can you somehow view the security cameras remotely? i can see theyre numbered but it seems like i can only view them by interacting with them, which kind of defeats the purpose, doesnt it?
>>59328884From the camera menu
>>59328884Open your camera app from the menu and you get the option to look at security cameras.Only works for the area you currently are though, so you can't check Bleak Beach's cameras from Sparkling Skylands or whatever.
>>59328126>>59324737>>59324606>>59318721i had the same thought at first, but when i sat down and stared at it i decided i could not just let it benow that i have more materials at my disposal, i can afford to get into it. i will do cool things with these islands, i swear. Ive already got a few ideas brewing for a new island to terraform
>>59329234That island is the easiest part lol
>>59329358i have a bag full of concrete and a head full of dreams, i cant wait to start working on the other islands
>>59329358Nah, the tower island is the easiest, if you don’t include the Fighting Dojo area.
>>59329364Hope you got aspear berries for all the yellow paint you'll need
Lava wheels are pretty fucking sick ngl. Those bad boys are gonna power the refurbished museum
When that last Tatsugiri shows up, I'm gonna put it down in a deep dark cave. It's been nearly three weeks now and NOTHING.
Is there any way to activate things remotely using water flow?I am trying to design a secret entrance contraption using motion sensors, but they can only activate things immediately adjacent to them. I need some way to carry their on/off state to somewhere else and water is the only way I can think of to do that.Something like:>stand on motion sensor>sensor opens mini floodgate or floor hatch>water flows along a track in the floor to wherever the secret door mechanism is>??? somehow activates it using the water?>>profitI would also like to chain many sensors together, so that you'd need to activate multiple sensors in order to trigger access to the secret chamber
>>59330035Maybe the first one triggers a hatch that gets water flowing, then the water flows to trigger more hatches?
>>59330065holy shit, water can trigger motion sensorsi swear i tried that already and it didn't work, but i tried it again just now and it worksthis changes everything
am I wrong to think that you only ever need 10 rare pokemetal ever in the entire game?i've been collecting them compulsively because i could tell they're a rare resource, but then i looked it up and it looks like all it's used for is some items that look like you only ever need 1 of
>>59330405You need it to make a lot of stuff on the 3D printer.
>>59330413Yep, like more of the other trees.
>>59328869I found him today
He can't hurt anyone any more. Not pictured: the fact that are 4 bonfires under him.
>>59331497Leaves the birds and Volcanion then, right?
I did what a good friend would do.
>>59333333
>>59331520Should have just buried him.
>>59331698Anyone summon Volcanion yet?
the skylands music is great.
>>59335292You can remove skylands. The music is great in general in this game.
>>59335315>You can remove skylandsNow there's an idea. I bet you could tear down everything but the Pokemon Center and Gamefreak office
It's really annoying how after terraforming Rocky Ridge it still cuts out the music and turns everything red when I walk around the middle of the map despite there being no caves or lava in that spot anymore.Hopefully an update changes this.
>>59322217Close the gate. Wait for everything to go barren. Go under the first open window and suck. Then repeat the suck to get back.Checked it today and it turns out I built it wrong. The most important part of not blocking the pathway to the dropped food was being stopped by the blocks the trees were on. No wonder no one was getting any food. It's fixed now.
Week three of no Tatsugiri. It really must be some sort of weird RNG glitch of some kind, this is ludicrous.
>>59337543Maybe there's another habitat you accidentally setup somewher?
so. much. volcanic. ash.
>>59337550Nah, I triple checked. The only Beach Set habitats are in Bleak Beach and I only set up a small handful to get the Tatsugiri. I then sent the two Tatsugiri I did get into a premade home to clear the way and then...nothing for three weeks.
DLC WHEN
I expanded the farm by 10 spaces on each side. Underground there's 20 tomatoes, 34 potatoes and 26 beans plants. You can add 20 more trees of whatever variety needed or just let me know and I can do it. This goes for the underground plants too. I might have to remove the roof since it's not really working keeping the rain out. Also I think we need another crafting bench that has access to Pokemetal. Is there a reason why it's in it's own detached box?
>>59337761There's supposedly a Nintendo Direct on tuesday so if there's any DLC soon I expect it will be announced then
So can someone clafiry houses to me? When I shove mons in there and decorate it to please them can I place items anywhere? Like, they won't have a dedicated square like they would on the outside?
>>59338109Yeah, should be able to place items anywhere you want
>>59338109If you're talking about loading zone homes, I think it has to be the floor they live on.
>>59338109They need to be able to path to toys and relaxation items, and for open air homes you have to make sure theyre not too far away sometimes (items can be within the home perimeter, but they wont be happy until theyre closer)
>>59337761Next week pokemon leaker said dlc 1 will have Manaphy >>59335291Nope, someone should be cool if multiple anons are at the Volcanion party
I can't really reach the right thumb stick or the left buttons :l but pokopia is really fun so far
>>59339306How the hell are you holding your controller/switch
>>59339306? explain
Can land become dry over time?I found some dry spots I thought I water gunned. So I'm not sure if I missed them or if those blocks turned back to being dry.
>>59339708Only if there's a Smooth Rock that you put somewhere to make them dry. Otherwise, when a block gets hydrated, it will stay hydrated.
I like the tree you built.
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET STUPID FUCKING FLOWERS IN DIFFERENT COLORSI have 400 hours played and I STILL DON'T HAVE FUCKIN BLUE WILDFLOWERS THIS SHOULDN'T BE SO HARD WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BULLSHITWhy would you hide something so insignificant and purely aesthetic behind such horrendous RNG I don't fucking understand IT'S JUST FUCKING FLOWERS!!
>>59341422I usually check the PC. It gives out different flower colors on different days. That's how I got blue tulips anyway.
Gosh, you guys are creative.
>>59341540I check the PC every single damn day and I'm still missing a lot of colors. There's 8 different kind of flowers and they have 4 alt colors each so there's a lotI even time travelled a bunch REEEEI just don't understand why you'd make something so insignificant so difficult to obtain. It even costs FOUR Pokémetal to copy ONE flower what the FUCK
What do you mean you cant rotate lined tile blocks, why does the line have to face one way, that's some hot bs, back to trying to figure a good block to build the top of this tower
>>59342613*meant to say lined stone flooring, gotta love that memory issues. Also been losing my mind trying to get the last cd and last small relic. Only other thing i need is a rare candy and thats rng I dont getThe lines in the flooring only go one way and the top of the bell tower goes the other way and its driving me wild
There's pokemetal blocks in one of the boxes. It's free use if you want to convert it to metal or use as building blocks. They were harvested from ceilings which is why I didn't bother destroying them.
pokopia drains the battery like mad, are all switch 2 exclusives like this
>>59343941I think it's more like the Switch 2 battery is weak in general.
>>59343941Let me guess, you had a OLED Switch before?
>>59343941the switch 2 just has pretty subpar battery life, it's not just pokopiawe're never getting battery life like the original DS again, the acceptable range seems to be hovering between 2.5 to 4 hours and I don't think we'll see it drift very far out of this ever again
>>59344000>we're never getting battery life like a calculator again
>>59343941Yes, turn on the 90% charge limit and play mostly plugged in to prevent premature degredation. The system will run mostly off external power when near the cap
>>59342613It kinda makes sense because there's two types of asphalt blocks that have lines that run on x and y axes but they don't give us both types on the line stone flooring.
>Direct tomorrow as of this writingSurely it'll get an update. I mean, the fact that they're offering this game in that "choose your game" bundle means it'll get updates. IT'S JUST GOTTA.
>>59344886The rest of Kanto being added is pretty much guaranteed, everyone's saying it. I just hope they add some significant new feature/s that would add to the game's longevity.
>>59344913Underwater building most likely.
Rare Pokemetal was a mistake.
>>59344913>The rest of Kanto being added is pretty much guaranteedThey are most likely going to put them in a wave like dlc pack (smash bros dlc kind ) ex. dlc wave 1 pack has Cerulean City coming this year why other dlc wave come out next year
>>59344913I really hope we get a lot more block types and items
>>59345675Yeah, the terraleak seems to indicate that's the planBut then again they also originally intended to have Viridian City in the base game
>>592972892 hours until the Nintendo Direct will we might get Pokopia update/dlc news. If we get news, we should put it in the op for the next thread

3 more areas!
HOLY SHIT
>>59347394And new town.
>>59347399Oh nevermind, 2 then? >>59347398
>>59347399WRONGPart2 will not have a new town. Read the fine print
We fucking WON
Any idea what town it was?
>>59347407Cerulean
>>59347407It said you need to have Bleak Beach at a certain level to get to the area, so somewhere close to Vermillion.
>>59347398What the fuck could they include in part 2 that makes it equivalent to a town?
>>59347417Expand a current area? I honestly dont know.
So... Can I magnet rise underwater?
We are so up
>>59347431No, you die immediately and it bricks your console.
>>59347417Looking at >>59345809, maybe Part 2 overhauls Sparkling Skylands? I could imagine it getting more islands, or maybe I'll go back to the ground or something like that.
>>59347456I doubt they would expand any mapThey are the size they are to begin with because that's about what the system can handleSkylands is already most prone to lag after any amount of buildingI expect that part 2 is some new game mode
Looking forward to building underwater houses.
I wonder, can every Pokemon live underwater?
>>59347413I don't think you can apply logic like that in the game where Fuchsia connects directly to Pewter
>expansion costs half the price of the base game>only two new townsWhat the fuck.
>>59347485Most likely exclusively water Pokemon, since they should be able to breath down thereThat would be lame, till you remember water has the most amount of Pokemon of any type, so there's a lot of options
Manaphy is also going to be the legendary of the area. Like the dogs and the birds i can understand but why are Volcanion and Manaphy appearing? They're a long ways away from home.
>>59347559Well that is half the game so
>>59347696They've already explained in the notes you find in game that Pokemon have been migrating, due to the climate change of the whole planet, so it is to reason this includes legendary Pokemon
Next event June 17th.
>>59347751The emoji says July 17th so I guess it's unspecified in June? There's an emoji that just has a random ass date like that?
>>59347666I can see some rock/grass/ghost types too. Yeah yeah rock weak to water... but some rocks just chilling at the bottom of the sea because they don't need to breathe seems like an easy joke to do.Like would you be surprised if a gigalith or solrock didn't need oxygen?
>>59347753The calendar emoji on twitter is always is dated July 17thIt's kind of dumb
>>59347751>>59347753It's just the calender emoji, it always says July 17th or other specific dates in other styles. It's not related to the announcement
>>59347751Whatever it is, it wasn't added in the latest update. Time traveling through June didn't activate anything.
lol I just filled in a lot of the water areas on Bleak Beach and Withered Wasteland with sand and grass so I'd have more room to build
>>59324606It's a bit easier to break things in mouse mode
>>59347696Volcanion is probably a gen 10 reference, ring of fire in Indonesia and all that.
