X/Y is a very average game, nothing special, but at the bare minimum it has actual routes and decent music in certain areas. The routes in Sword and Shield are an absolute joke.

No rival in XY has a personality- Gigantamax battles in-game are more fun because your opponent uses them. There were like only one or two characters in XY that used Megas.There is probably more but thats what I could think of spontaneously

>>59303915NTA but it's hard to not even give a copout "everything" answer. Any criticism you can give to any Pokemon game is just about at its worst and especially so the pacing of it. Team Flare is handled so comically bad that you basically just speedrun their entire plot as the game makes you go from lair to lair fighting Lysandre three times in the span of an hour (would be even less time if the games weren't so slow), to the point where his team only really changes by gaining 2 levels between each fight which are levels you're easily gonna surpass even without the Exp. Share due to the fact you have to go through all the grunts and admins between him each time. It's such a forgettable region that the only things I really remember are the egregiously awful things like that, the whole copying Viridian Forest + forced Pidgey on your first Grass Tile because KANTOOOO and the entirety of Lumiose City. Wouldn't even be able to tell you what order the gyms are in and I played it less than a month ago.
