Who else is returning to Pokémon with these after skipping one or more gens?Personally I skipped SWSH and SV because they looked awful and crap (plus I hated their gimmicks, god awful), but this actually seems decent and like they put in effort again. So it'll be a return to the franchise for me after some years of pausing.

In the past 13 years the only Pokemon games I've bought have been X and PL:A. If it doesn't have post-game or otherwise meaty single-player content then no buy, it's the same rule I've had since they deleted the Battle Frontier. I'm somewhat hopeful this time that since they have Champions for online battling, they'll at least try to make the single-player content meaningful here.

I bought switch2 on day 1, only got ZA and was impressed how many dialogues actually they now put into these games by comparing to size of gameboy titles. I wanted to give a try to gen9 but designs are too ugly, and gen8 is too linear. The incoming games are looking promising, lets see what they can do with better hardware.

>>59303436Only games I bought after Gen 5 were Alpha Sapphire and Moon. Kinda thought about buying one of the 8 or 9 games but they look kinda shit, especially in the Starter department. Gen 7 was so promising it's sad they immediately took a nosedive after. SV looks fun but very buggy and empty. Pla was decent looking but I'm not buying a switch just for one game. LZA looks like hot fucking garbage but that's how I feel about any Kalos game. Gen 10 reminds me a lot of Gen 7 and I hope they fix some stuff up, the starters are all really generic and lazy looking, not a fan of any of them. Really disappointing that the last two cool looking animal choices for starters were a fire croc and a seal
