I've just noticed that when "take book" is selected when reading a book on a lectern, the book is straight up deleted and doesn't appear as a drop or in my inventory. Is there a way to fix this? This happened near the ravine town's taxi.

It's an NPC shop for typically unobtainable/world limited items due to mod clashing and stuff. And cosmetic blocks to encourage building.
Player shops are for generally obtainable but hard to get, like EV Vitamins or Pokeballs and stuff.
