Meta wise: it’s a shame its speed tier puts it in a shitty too fast for trick room too slow for a normal situation. The defense boosts still put it at 1-2HKO range against most threats considering its hp. Doesn’t help that in champions everyone and their mom uses basculegion.Design wise it’s just ok. Yeah it’s more chandelier-y now, and the eye closing thing is cool, but they could’ve made its flames burn a different color (regular flames blue, shiny flames white gold), or given it garnishments that are not generic gold chandelier aspects.Personally I think they should’ve used this opportunity to make the first Rock/Ghost type by making the chandelier crystallized like pic related and then give it some cheap rock coverage so that it doesn’t totally break the game with that special attack and rock type coverage.tl;dr missed opportunity.
