>>59311383I'm not the one who drew picrel but yeah I'm planning to use the fieldworker as the mc of my comic, her design is too good to be forgotten.I like how she looks like she belongs in the pokemon world and at the same time her outfit looks practical... something that seems to have been forgotten by modern pokemon designs where the goal is to make each character stand out by giving them a crazy hairstyle with a two tone color combination that hasn't been used yet + idiosyncratic eyes.

I was going to base mcs (female and also male) of the game on her appearance as well. I think part of the appeal is that she's drawn by Ken Sugimori which kind of gives her legitimacy on par with game characters.
Holon could've worked as last hurrah Gamecube Pokemon game>instead of it being about shadow pokemon you are tasked with stopping pokemon that have gone beserk with holon energy that seems to surround the island>like shadow pokemon they have exclusive moves known as delta moves and typings (delta) however they can easily disobey during battle just like shadow pokemon>"purifying" them of the excess holon energy brings them back to their original typing but they gain a second passive called delta abilities to compensate on them losing their delta type and give them an extra edge in battles that mons originally would not have like one more type, or immunity against certain types it all depends on the mon>reward for 100% the holon dex is a shiny delta mew
I can’t help but imagine what it could have been to get a spin off game set in Holon during the golden age of DS Pokémon games. Life is so unfair.

What even is a delta species? Adding steel type to everything and making them dual types with no visual differences doesnt make them a different species. GF didnt even half ass that much when it came to regional variants starting with alola in gen 7.
