Disruption/perish team looked like a Bo1 cts team. I don't anticipate it going far even if the pilot is skilled. They fold to a hyper offense/balance player that knows how to play around it. They get potentially 2 attacks per turn while disruption occupied at least 1 mon's turn which means there's only 1 offensive presence.

Cybertron has a pretty thorough understanding of the game and is great at explaining concepts to low to mid tier players, so I'd still follow his general advice. It's just that his best days as a player are behind him, and even then he only got within sniffing distance of a World Championship the one time.

Steelix makes a lot of sense in retrospect because its part of a competing weather to what most everyone is spamming (either rain arch or sun zard) which is in function slower than any of them so it always sets up + it BTFOs Zard with wide guard, Floette with its typing and even Aero/Glimm who are the next most common megas.That said all it takes is one Blastoise finalist with water pulse/water spout to rape a hole right through his team. I know that's what Rotom and Sinistcha are for but pairing it with Arch, etc and some other rain threats can be deadly.
