Singles 3v3 is a different kind of game because you have to pick 3 Pokemon into each battle based on team preview, so it's kind of sacky if your opponent brings in the right 3 and you don't. You don't have your full team at your disposal to play support so tactics like pivoting and hazard control are less effective
