Why is it called Draco Meteor instead of Dragon Meteor? Every other dragon move has Dragon in its name, why does this one use Draco instead? What's the point?
sounds cool
>>59326641Trivia from BP>The name Draco Meteor is likely a reference to the draconids, a meteor shower named after the constellation Draco (Latin for "dragon"), where they seemingly come from.

>>59326973Dragonbreath
>>59326641it was a move designed by a fan so it makes sense it wouldn't follow series norms
>>59327135It wasn't designed by a fan, it was named by fan suggestion though. they ran a comp in Corocoro. The winner was picked due to the worldplay of the phrase "meteor shower" in Japanese also containing the symbol for Dragon.>>59326815>being THIS young and ignorant of series history

>>59326641>Every other dragon move has Dragon in its nameWhat did he mean by this?
>>59327763And you'll die in a third world shithole. Funny how life works legit wouldn't want to be Japanese, I like having a life/work balance.
>>5932664112 character limit when it was introduced, and they didn't feel like changing it later after X/Y when the character limit was increased.>>59326815That feels like justification added after the fact, not something that came up during the design phase.>>59327115Dragonbreath (without the space) is 12 characters, and they didn't add the space in the move's name until X/Y when the character limit was increased.
