Would Arceus be more broken than Mega Rayquaza if Legend Plate was in the main games?
>>59329935yesmega fug isn’t even that broken anymore, it’s been years of power creep
>>59329955How do you know that when the last time mega fug was available in traditional battles was Sun and Moon? In gen 8 natdex AG it was still up there with prenerf Zacian-C. I’m not sure how well mega fug did in gen 9 natdex AG since the tier got shitcanned, but I can’t imagine it would be that much worse off with it still being a 780bst mega with good distribution, an amazing ability, on top of being able to hold any item.
>>59330053mega fug is less dominant than it used to be due to its lack of speed and its deceptively high BST, given that a gigantic portion of it is dumped into special attack which is a stat it rarely uses while newer high BST pokemon are much more optimized.back when natdex AG existed, miraidon and calyrex-shadow were ranked higher on omgon's viability ranking than mega fug was. it's still a god-tier pokemon, it's just that powercreep is THAT retarded. 115 speed isn't enough to dominate the metagame now that SV bumped the "fast" bar all the way to 135. it can't espeed its way past flutter mane or shadow rider, scarf koraidon and booster flutter ruin it even after a DD, etc.
>>59330053All Mega Fug has is raw stats and a held item, current powercreep demands you also use modifiers aside from direct stat levels to further exaggerate your damage output (weather, terrain, moves with conditional boosts, etc.) in order to become unstoppable and break any wall.
>>59329935Fug lost access to V-Create, but even if he still had it, Arceus with Legend Plate is clearly superior.
>>59330103yup. hadron engine gives miraidon an effective special attack stat of 538 which is approximately equal to base 196 special attack, and when using electric moves its effective special attack is 700 which is equivalent to base 269. with 269 special attack its BST is actually 804, which is higher than mega ray and also MUCH more minmaxed.
