Not a good rival, particularly two years after Nemona. Simple minded in an irritating way rather than endearing. ZA did a better job with its cast than PLA, but B team still struggles to make interesting characters compared to A team.

They even tell you that the battle for Floette at the end of the game wasn't really necessary, but you still did it because it was something Taunie really wanted.It's kind of like Nemona, you have to beat her first and prove you're strong enough before she'll join you in Area Zero.
