I like Zub(r)at, along with Golbat and especially Crobat.

Nobody likes Polchergeist (sic?) or most of the future pokemon from violet.

Everyone loves crobat bitch

Zubat is one of the unironically underrated kanto designs. It's super cute.

Yes, among the last anyways. Lowest number of "favorites" for sure.

I like the entire Zubat line. They're reliable Pokemon in game and competitively. Golbat is probably the least good individually, but it completes the line.

A fast, bulky, decently hard hitting Flying/Poison type has loads of uses. Obviously competitively, yes, but its bulk and speed allow you to gimmick the shit out of boss fights you shouldn't be able to win in game by saccing into Crobat, outspeeding and using Toxic, and then stalling with Protect, Roost, and switching. It works on any gym that isn't Rock/Electric/Psychic type, but those have such obvious answers that you don't really need the 'bat for them.

There isn't a single Pokemon in existence that at least one person doesn't have in their top 25. There are some Pokemon, though, that fewer people like than others.
>>
>>59335169
lol you're understimating regional forms, even stuff like Geodude and Grimer have nostalgia factor.

Old comp players like Clamperl because of its Shell Smash set. Deep Sea Tooth doubles its SpA stat making it hit harder than every single Huge/Pure Power Pokemon except for Mega Mawile and Medicham. With Shell Smash, the Little Clam that Could can even 2HKO Blissey of all Pokemon.

+2 252 SpA 30 IVs Deep Sea Tooth Clamperl Surf vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Blissey: 325-384 (45.5 - 53.8%) -- 2.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

I wouldn't say Clamperl is popular, but it's probably liked by more people than either of its evolutions simply because of the meme of it hitting harder than Mega Rayquaza.

Actual Geodude and Grimer are liked due to nostalgia. Their regional variants are just barely old enough for kids at the time of their release to turn old enough to have nostalgia for them.
>>
>>59335196
No, I mean the nostalgic fans like to see regional forms and use them, not that the new-gen kids have grown up.

it really is insane that a starter and a legendary were among these. Really goes to show they have to stop phoning them in.

Legendary?
>>
>>59335229
A middle stage starter who few ever care about anyway
Do tell me how popular Croconaw, Combusken, Grotle, Prinplup, Pignite, Quilladin, Thwackey, and Drizzile are

Are you out of your mind?
>>59335240
It's not 2017 anymore, you can stop pretending to hate Gen 7
>>
>>59335276
Some middle stage starters have a decent presence in the anime like Bayleaf, but yeah not always.

He's forgettable but honestly not offensive. He's not Beartic-level awful.

beartic is good though
way better than the nonsense penguin who they just forgot to design and slapped a block of ice on its head

I love Zubat. He only gets better as Crobat. I remember catching a green Zubat in mount moon and I was so happy!
