One I only started liking years later was Espeon, I never liked the Eevees as a pokemon and still mostly don't but I got one as a trade while finishing my Pokedex in HGSS and it was the first Pkmn I ever got up to level 100 since the traded XP made it level up quicker. I kinda like that kitty now because it made grinding a lot better, I do get attached to my partners.
