Why does Italy dominate VGC?
>>59352622Superior italian genes
>>59352622>marco silva>marco silva, italy
>>59352622Wow, Louie Fonte is such a cute twink.
>>59352622>ROMAN LEGION (yes they had some niggers too in the oriental provinces)
>>59352622Marco Negra
Is pokemon the only esport italians are good at? Zero players in dota,cs, league etc
>>59352622>Louis Fontvieille>Aurélien SoulaI am French and those are 100% French names.
>>59352622italianon here, the games you mentioned are regarded as extremely nerdy and niche, while everybody played Pokemon and watched the anime. becoming the strongest trainer is a dream that has incredible legend and prestige surrounding it. as opposed to whatever you're supposed to achieve playing these other games
>>59352789meant for >>59352770
>>59352770Zeb89 is the greatest Serious Sam player ever
Nah gang why is MoxieBoosted so fat now?https://youtu.be/V5OdYbN7pNcMy nigga needs to get his ass back on that treadmill, the spic genes are taking over.
>>59352770Yugioh is popular with Italians.I wonder how Pokemon and Yugioh got so big in Italy. I do know they've had anime since the 1970s or something like that, though.
>>59352758He looks Indian.
>>59352789Based. People have their gaming priorities straight.
>>59352622Why is there a pajeet called Marco?Outside of that I have noticed a lot of the top players are Italian for some reason
>>59352622decline in football = rise in VGCequivalent exchange
>>59352867Saaar Lanka was Portuguese in the past, Goa too.
>>5935262220% youth unemployment rate and living in their moms basement until 40 means a lot of free time to get good at irrelevant things
>>59352622Over the past ten years in Italy some YouTubers have channeled almost all the traffic around the Pokémon brand toward themselves, greatly boosting the visibility of the games. Italians, who are basically unthinking people who like to gather around others and have a "daddy" figure, began idolizing these ecelebs, making them very famous (in Italy, we don’t really have a Pokémon forum or board like /vp/, the main active communities are the paywalled ones run by those people, and this sucks). Some of them invested large amounts of money to stream regionals and worlds every year, sometimes even getting more views than the official streams. This triggered a chain effect, leading more people to start playing competitively.
>>59353047/vp/ è troppo sovlful per l'Italia
>>59353047Can you say that without the tranny shit
>>59353061What the fuck are you even talking about?
>>59353061Can you say that without the tranny shit
>>59353047this is not true.
Yes, we had champions in the past years before modern YouTube was even a thing, but I'm talking about the situation right now. We can't deny that VGC in Italy got more popular because of YouTubers
>>59353069>>59353067Did that comment break you? It said can you make your original post without all the weird tranny shit
>>59353084You must be retarded, there's no other explanation
>>59353082are you confident enough to say that other European countries lack VGC jewtubers of the caliber of the Italian ones? I bet there are comparable guys more or less everywhere. With Wolfe being the overlord of this niche of course
>>59352622Cydonia god
>>59352623This, but also Italians in general are insular and support their own communities so the Italian VGC scene builds and works together more than other regions where you have smaller friend groups teambuilding. More people bouncing more ideas off each other and sharing results leads to overall better outcomes. And lastly, and probably the most important, Italians are, as a culture, pretty pragmatic. If an idea works, they'll just take it and use it.
