He's kind of a slow frail mixed attacker and that upsets me.

Fantastic design, really cool looking. Not sure it's got much else going for it. I guess it learns Fire Lash and... Coil? But if you wanted a cool buff move, Volcarona is right there.

If I were to buff it, I'd swap its defense and special attack, and make fire lash stronger but less accurate, to synergize with coil.

Incendipede is probably the best I can come up with off the top of my head.
Centipyre? Combustipede? I get they were going with sizzle -> scorch but maybe something like Scorchipendra or something could have worked as well, I don't know. I just figure word 1 + word 2 should have more in common thematically or phonetically.

I almost like it, but also not. I guess in part because it's a little too short, I think my perception was poisoned by reading a post calling it a condom roll and I think about that every time I see it.
The gigantimax is way cooler though because it's long as fuck. Shame it's stuck as a meme form in the worst game in the series.

they do have the glowing swirl like a heating element but I don't think it's specifically supposed to look like a hotplate since it's long and squiggly

To be fair you could also say it's not supposed to be a radiator because it's thick and not thin like one but we know it's at least partially based on radiators due to its species name. imo it's probably both because if the britbong that designed him saw one with the heating element and 4 legs and thought it looked like a segment of a centipede's body, then that's all it would have taken to incorporate it into the design.
