>>59361170In part it's because you can't hear the sound design through a mute mp4.But it's also because this is just a random fight not considered important enough to splurge with budget and top animators, I've been watching a bunch of random episodes from all eras of the anime and while everybody knows that XY era was the highest quality, I still would argue that the "average" Horizons fight is better than the "average" fight in the early anime, because yeah while the anime itself was cool and all, a bunch of fights were kinda lame or barely animated.
