I got gifted a bunch of Pokemon cards and shit but I have literally zero interest in them I only played the games a few years ago. Some of them came in packages which I haven't opened because they lose all their value if you do that I heard. Some of them are like in this cardboard box with a lid and already opened when I got it. I was thinking of maybe checking it there's any valuable ones in there but I cannot be assed to look up each card one by one to know if any of them are worth a damn.I'd there any way to know what cards have value without autistically looking up each one individually? I am planning to sell them all.My favorite pokemon is Lugia btw.

>>59360843Short answer; noLong answer: Pokemon cards have value depending on the market for them and it’s different for every Pokemon, things like psyduck are going high no matter the rarity because a certain football player has been showing off his love for psyduck, but normally it wouldn’t be worth dick. If it’s old, keep it. This includes anything gen 1-4 era. Look for the stuff from the first few years of the TCG, if you want a good predictor of value.

I was being hyperbolic I'm probably going to look through it. It looks like mostly gen 8 shit I think. It's in pretty good condition and a lot of the stuff is wrapped in sleeves. I have no idea what's worth selling on its own or not. Are legendaries worth selling separately? I have 5 Jirachi for example.
>>59361426Gen 8 has some hits, but Gen 9 has some ridiculously valuable cards like shiny Mew ex and alternate art Umbreon ex from the scarlet violet tera set. Anything sleeved is probably worth checking if a PSA9 or 10 goes for anything. The most money you’ll make is with graded cards but they take a while to finish, so get on it sooner than later.
