This despite it being an interesting concept. The closest I can recall was one where she showed up at the Johto League Silver Conference, but rather than end after the League, the fic author made the mistake imho of having them then travel to Kalos (I think?), and then the fic just felt aimless, since it felt like we already had the big payoff and now the author was trying to artificially extend it.
