Honestly I kind of gave up on looking for that guy's version of Action. Doubt it exists anymore, and I've gone through plenty of computers throughout the years so those lost media things won't find it.
However, I'm 99% sure it was before Gen 5, since it apparently used Platinum sprites and didn't have any Gen 5 Pokemon. So it'd have to date around 2008-2010 at the earliest. Maybe 2007 if you're looking for that guy's version of Island.

Before I go, I will say this. The quietest thing in the world is a Total Pokémon Island fan. As I said before no threads on 4chan (a few posts on /vp/ in the archive I think, but less than I would expect, especially in threads on... closely related topics. Third elimination… BORING! But with some signs of things to come, I guess?
Now, on the show so far, It’s alright. I like it. It has some humor, some strategizing.
While the eliminations have been boring and there has been little in the way of negotiations, the mere fact multiple names get brought up as targets in elimination discussions is a good sign.
The episodes lengths make them really easy to get through. It has some things that other TPIs miss. I swear that one show is a simulation or something. At the very least it doesn’t have the things I DON’T like in these shows.(the ones creators seem so eager to add)
Then again, they could still happen. May just be a matter of time

One thing I like about this episode is that the challenge doesn't include the "Play a song from beginning to end while the characters stand there doing nothing at all." thing that plagues so many other talent show episodes.

Seventh elimination It's a funny one at least. I don't know how exactly Natu is going to prove Clefairy's guilt but knowing these shows the others will likely believe him no question (or go along for the sake of strategy.

The intro to this show is almost as basic as a tpi intro can be, which I find weird because the show demonstrates Blockman is absolutely capable of making a better one. Maybe the show gets a new one later in the season?

Of course it feels that way, it's the sprites (and that all the creators are inspired by Nicki). There are many TPIs that use gen 6-9 mons (fanmade sprites). Ditto268's fourth season had a cast purely consisting of gen VI mons (That season was weird though, like, hello? Diggersby?).

You wanna know how I (Op) found out about Total Pokémon Island? I looked it up. I literally thought to myself "Hey, I like Pokémon, and I Like Total Drama, so what if I looked up Total Pokémon Island?" I was very surprised to find actual shows (and not just like random videos like Youtube Poops or whatever.) That was when I first watched Nickinor2's show and I loved it (didn't watch any other ones though lol),
Now while Nicki's show is fantastic, it's not really what got me into Total Pokémon Island..

You see, I would actually say there are 3 very hard to define time-wise eras of Total Pokémon Island
Era 1: This is the era everyone knows. Why? Nickinor2. There was also Misdreavus525, Elco, others, but many were just little kids who watched Nikinor2's show and said "Hey I can do that!"
Era 2: This is when Total Pokémon Island became cool, and why I watch them. As far as I'm aware, the first show to be part of this era was Micheal545's which started in mid-2013 (which I used for the op pic btw ;) ) In this era, Tpis became more serious, there was more focus on alliances and strategies and drama. The episodes were longer because of that. While the creators were inspired by older TPIs and Total Drama they also pulled inspiration from other sources like Fanfiction and Anime making TPI more it's own thing. It also is when tpis became more rage-inducing (for me at least.) due to, uh, baffling writing decisions on the creators' parts (but that's kinda good because it meant there was more experimentation and less restraint). There was also many attempts to include more... mature subject matter let's just say.
Era 3: The existence of a third era is debatable (in my mind) but when you look at it, you can kinda tell there is a difference. More wackiness, more "animation". I'm not sure when I would say this era begins, maybe 2020s, maybe late 2010s, lots of Era 2 like shows still being made. Era 3 is more defined by how much the new creators are inspired by the... sister spin-off.

I want to tell you anons about Total Pokémon Island YC, as I find it really funny. Do not ask me what YC stands for, because I have no idea. You see this show is made by a man who is not so smart, uuu kno?

I'm really trying my hardest to guess the direction the drama ends up taking. The only thing I can imagine is maybe merge happens next episode and Charmeleon teams up with Xatu due to what he saw in the last episode and votes off Quilava? It's all just Xatu really.

For anyone actually paying attention to this stupid thread, I will say this: Watch Abandoned by 2319mi. It's actually one of the better tpis, aside from the needlessly long episodes.
Be warned though, the thumbnail of the finale spoiled who was in the final 2 and I saw it after like episode 2, so maybe hide suggestions and recommend videos to avoid that kind of thing from happening. (Though that didn't end up being kind of a blessing as well as a curse but I won't say why.)
