How do you handle psychic pokemon in your settings? The existence of a fairly common group that can teleport long distances and read minds invalidates like half of all narratives. Especially when another common trope is 'there are enough high level psychics running around that every arena has a force field janny on it'Do you try to do some worldbuilding rebalance of things or do you just handwave it away?

Second is the long distance use which needs a long "meditation" (aka charge time) to be executed, the long distance Teleport is not a linear "charge time" progression but rather it starts duplicating/triplicating/etc every X amount of distance. To put it in simple terms Teleporting from Lavender to Saffron might take two days of charge time, but Teleporting from Lavender to Viridian might even take two whole weeks of charge time. On top of that there's an upper-ceiling limit as well depending on species since an Abra is never going to be able to Teleport outside of Kanto while a Mewtwo might be able to do it with enough time.
