I can't tell if my Gardevoir is being buttfucked by my Darkrai triggering, or the cumulative skill trigger soft limit is still in place. I'm on Expert, but I even managed to have Psychic berries be favored, so it's not the Expert speed penalty. It's typically pretty rare for my Gardevoir to struggle, but it's already happened multiple times so far this week.
Shout out to my marshmallow for two last minute procs before i went to bed, everyone please praise her
Just FYI, Empathy Sleep is BOTH Latios and Latias, so set something else if you want an incense spawn. And this Latios was my reward...
>>59375750I'm curious what the Empathy Sleep looks like in the Sleep Dex if you found either a shiny Latias or Latios, since I imagine that sleep style is probably shiny locked, much like Mew and Darkrai. Also an anon in the last thread asked about hungry Mew and Darkrai spawns. I'm fairly sure they can be hungry, and that I might have taken a screenshot but I can't grab it right now.
I got confused when it said Latias and Latios had unlocked their shared bonuses, but that was only because instead of a separate line entry it just got folded into the main text description. Before, it just showed as its own separate section with a lock next to it.
>>59375750>Empathy Sleep??? What?
>>59375772Ah here it is, a screenshot from January of a hungry Darkrai encounter, which >>59371833 wanted to see.>>59376423When you hit event rank 13, you'll get a special message from Neroli. The next sleep session, you'll get a nice surprise, and should absolutely use a luck incense for big dream shard gains, and a focus incense for research EXP gains if you haven't hit max research rank yet.
That’s a fuck you nature
Also can I get a second opinion on this, I know skill triggers are better but it’s hard enough to catch legendaries let alone perfect ones, is this good enough?
>>59376750Just plug it into the calculator, though keep in mind this is after all the event bonuses and the assumption you're running a full Dragon team (without Latias). Since the bonuses are 1.5x skill trigger and +1 ingredient per help, you can extrapolate or just wait until next week to see its normal performance. You're going to be putting a LOT of resources and skill seeds into a Legendary for it to be viable vs just running a regular good Pokemon, so I'd want to be absolutely certain I'm going to use it. Latios is also a bit of an odd one out because it gets so many berries from its skill and isn't particularly fast, so BFS doesn't do as much heavily lifting compared to other Legendaries.Yours is OK. Usable, but not very close to Latios's full potential. The Inventory Up M does help a little bit with overnight activations, but BFS is actually weaker than STM for Latios. Personally, I don't think I'd want to use it.
>>59376735There's 25 natures and most of the time you're only looking for 3, maybe 6, so that it doesn't completely fuck over the rest of the skills you rolled. And since natures provide so much of a bonus, neutralizing mints are only decent SOME of the time.
These fat chud retards won’t bring me the milk I need for avocado gratins
If I mint this nature is this a keeper?
>>59378857For me, it's 2 skill triggers at minimum for a skillmon.
>>59378857I think HSM + STM + BFS is plenty for Latios. HSM + STM can basically only really be improved by a nature, but considering you have BFS, I think it works
Well, this is currently what I have for a Lati Dragon team. Rolled a set of 3 latias with great subskills but no BFS all around and this is the best latios I've had so far.The XP downs are rough and its a LOT of seed investment for the three skill mons, and will I really use it over the usual cooking/ dede team? Its something different I guess.
>>59379736Latias is a little odd, since it gives out help triggers, but running Latias, Latios, and Noivern aren't giving you less per help compared to Salamence, Altaria, and Dragonite... or Drampa if you want.
i might've fucked up by starting my pgp+ at 04:00am sharp
>Latios full after two biscuits>For the third time this event>Never once hungryI thought the update was supposed to make legendaries less likely to get full.>>59380496Latias is the odd one since its main skill only depends on Latios being there, whilst Latios depends on having same-type team composition like all the legendaries before it. Well, "depends" isn't accurate because Latios standalone is still the strongest berry burst user in the game.
>>59380496>>59380520Latios does get extra berries on activation from Latias being on its team as well as from unique dragons on its team, and latias does collect 7 times from the pokemon it's healing if you have latios on the team.BFS Noivern is supposedly great, and I don't have a altaria worth running, and don't know if I want the millions of herbs my dragonite would generate. 5th slot would be actual healer.
>>59380503cheated with timezone. a second good subskill would be nice but the nature + BFS might be good enough. not sure if i want to bother hunting for a second one, unless its hungry i won't catch one tonight.
>>59380583Altaria is somewhat the runt of dragon types, if you luck out and get better options for everything else.Latias is in the same camp as Cresselia where it can heal, but that's not its primary function, and you should still run a dedicated healer. However there isn't a dragon type E4E healer, where Cresselia can pair with Gardevoir. But yeah you've got a solid team of four dragons with space for a dedicated healer. Latias helps keep dedicated healers running too.Note that since your Salamence has an energy hindering nature, it'll receive help from Latias more frequently since it always targets the least energetic Pokémon. At least, I think it may, depending on the order of skill activations.Put it this way, team wakes up and everyone's at 100 energy. If Latias triggers first it's even odds which two of the five helpers gets extra helps. If a healer triggers first, everyone is up to 118 or 136 energy, except for Salamence that'll be at 115 or 130 energy, which guarantees it gets Latias support.Since BFS berry specialists benefit the most from instant help type main skills, this is a meaningful optimisation to keep in mind.Latias skill procs after that will be subject to if any other helpers manage to hit 150% energy or not, but first thing the Salamence would be the joint-first or second most energetic helper.
Shiny Jolteon, but eugh, these rolls...
Had 3 ingredient magneters this week, didn’t crit sadly
What do you get for rank 15 in the event? I might not make it.
>>59382060Just 120 Latios Down samples. If you mean rank 13, you get a 5 star sleep style of Latias and Latios together (guaranteed encounter), you unlock a buff to their main skills, and you receive a main skill seed. The final night of the event has a 1.5x DP multiplier (not sure if that stacks with the 1.1x / 1.3x bonus for having Latias and/or Latios on your team), and the global average drowsy power should be pretty damn high. You might have a shot if you have a really good Sunday cookout.I managed to get 3/3 Sunday crits and finished on 7.5m strength at Greengrass, so I stand to reach a new Drowsy Power record exceeding one billion. That also will mean getting a lot of bonus ranks and bonus Latias / Latios candy, since there's an overflow mechanic when you hit max rank.
>>59382060Rank 15 is just Event materials, though a decent amount mind you. Also there IS overflow for this event, giving you 5x candies for each for each bar you can fill.
>>59382406When's the last time to spend the materials? Will I still be able to tomorrow morning?
>>59382812you can spend for a day or two after the event itself ends.
>>59382258The DP multipliers won't stack, so everything will just get overwritten by the bigger 1.5x boost. You can just run whatever you normally run for a Sunday night.>>59382812You usually get a couple days at least to spend what you've got. Main difference is that you aren't gaining anymore event materials through sleep research or community research. You can still use the incenses and event biscuits too, provided you're on an island that can spawn them next week. And once the exchange disappears, any leftover event biscuits will be converted to Great Biscuits. Might be nice to stock up if you don't have anything else worth exchanging for.
does anyone have screenshots of latios at various skill levels? need to reverse engineer the draco meteor RP
What a fucking disappointing wakeup call for 1b Drowsy Power on Expert. And a 1* Latias at that.
>>59383752Same, hit 1.1B DP (new PB), and only got 2 star Latios sleep, and it wasn't hungry. Every fucking hungry chance failed these two weeks, from GCT or any friend incense I used.Latios was 18/30 pips, I needed two dragon biscuits to guarantee befriending it. The remaining Latios samples weren't enough to get both the main skill seed and one more Latios incense for the future, and the Latios ended up being a disappointment (all inventory no skill trigger). If I'd gotten 3 star sleep, I would've earned just enough samples for both incense and seed.Something's fucked that 1.1B DP doesn't feel better than 500M DP, when I'm at more than double the strength requirement for M20 at GG.
>>59383817Forgot pic related. The Meowscarada was hungry and I got that too, but it was a worse ABB milk farmer than what I already had. I could use a better potato farmer.
>>59383517You can use Neroli in the OP. It actually shows the RP in the calculator.
>>59383862RP is currently inaccurate for latios, should be updated pretty soon
>>59383862i needed the screenshots so i could fix it but i got the info elsewhere
>Gardevoir 0 triggers for the day>Abomasnow 5 triggers with 0 trigger boosts in abilities nature and 4 whole eggs>Bewear with all corn slots has brought me 2 corn all day >forget to make breakfast What in the fuck is going on
Missed getting my biggest Snorlax strength ever by around 500k this past week (highest ever was 6.8m on OGPP, this was 6.3m on ggex). Managed to catch 3 whole Latios but they were all pretty bad. I already have this pretty decent Latias from her event and also caught a cool Noibat a couple of weeks ago.Overall it's a bit tough to get excited, I already maxed a lot of meals, and it's difficult to make the best ones without GCTs. Hopefully the update that makes it easier to find your desired mons really does change things up because honestly it's really demotivating to spend weeks going after something and just never finding it.Oh I also managed to get a new seed for my mew and it's looking really good wow.
This is about as good as I can currently get, though I ended up missing a few meals in order to save for Sunday. I was on Expert and managed to roll Dragon/Dark/Psychic, letting me run Salamence (55), Altaria (65), Dragonite (65), Darkrai (60) and Gardevoir (65). I think if I threw in EVERYTHING, I could have got my Salamence to 60.
