gio matters more for meow because the flower trick > fighting claws combo already does 200 damage, with gio it does 210 which is enough to kill nearly every meta relevant pokemon
it's usually ran with field blower though because that helps a lot with certain ranges, particularly caped mega sceptile which dies to the gio combo if you can remove its cape
130 damage on fighting claws meow also means that gio takes care of 140 hp ex mons like suicune and miraidon just fine, red doesn't boost it enough to take out caped 140 mons so it doesn't matter
i would recommend adding a field blower to the deck if you intend to use that list

sleep scam is objectively not good. it has a neutral or bad matchup into virtually every other top meta deck save for lucario, it's just a pubstomper deck, its winrate is massively inflated by low tier decks getting dunked.
that's not to say it's okay, the deck is still a problem, but mainly because it sucks the fun out of the game more than any other deck rather than because it's actually oppressive from a winrate standpoint. if you get fucked by a lucky hydreigon player you know you lost when they play the rare candy on turn 3 and can just concede and go next. "dunked by hydreigon, whatever, it happens." nobody complains about hydreigon.
now getting fucked by sleep scam is a lengthy, time-consuming process that makes you want to stop playing, and right up until the very final turn of the game there's the sword of fucking damocles hanging over you. it's terrible. same shit with ice pop.

It honestly doesn't even matter if the win rate is good or not. It's frustrating to play against because it takes your agency away. It's a card game, of course luck is going to be a big part of it, but when it literally just boils down to a "hey man, I heads I win tails you lose" then it feels like everyone's time was just fucking wasted (it was). And the deck runs on autopilot, because if you win your coin tosses the opponent literally just can't do anything anymore so you just follow your fucking flowchart; meaning that it'll see lots of play even if it isn't objectively good because it requires 0 effort or brain power for the person playing it. Which in the end makes a loss against it even more frustrating because you know your opponent didn't even do anything to win other than just watch you flip coins and put damage counters on your side for free. The win rate would have to be abysmally low to not matter, like those high oller Marowak dekcs of the past. But even with those they required setup before they get the ball rolling. This gets set up on turn 1 most of the time and makes the game really feel like it's not worth playing. The kind of person who PLAYS the deck is the kind of person you shouldn't be encouraging you play your game in the first place desu. It's an admission that you don't care about sportsmanship and just wanna win and get it over with even if it means your opponent doesn't get to play or have fun.

Sleep scam takes forever to play against too. Even when you win, it feels like a fucking waste of time because the game needs to literally pause for the coinflip interaction every turn, sometimes multiple times, and every fucking Darkrai ping needs to trigger each time. They really need to speed up these fucking animations. And for fuck's sake, just put a damn "next game" button at the endscreen, how can you have a modern game without learning people wanna move the fuck on and keep playing. The menu is laggy as fuck so at least let us skip that shit.
