Stuff like Mew had useful niches due to being able to run sets no one in their right mind could expect (this is also why Arceus was good), but the vast majority were awful and just not fast enough, powerful, or bulky enough to keep up with the normally legal restricted. Koraidon, Miraidon, both Calyrex, Zamazenta, Lunala, and Kyogre were better at doing what you need from a teammate than any mythical. Now you might have Zeraora be an exception because it's a mega, but most aren't going to be able to compete, especially if Mega Ray and the primals are around. It'll be interesting to see how Heatran slots in, since it's a sub-legendary so it doesn't count to the 1 or 2 limit on restricteds you can have.
