Recently, they decided to move the giantess pokegirls threads to /trash/ (weird choice on their end, since it should've gone to /d/ but hey) Since there is a new season of janitors inbound, keeping to a gentleman's recommendation prevents potential issues from arising. One is free to break the gentleman's agreement, but that comes at the risk of the individual, and not the general itself, because it did say "While the spirit is appreciated, it is not recommended." Especially with the recent moderator action, in line with new janitor season.

I tend to lean on the side of caution when it comes to them because they are funny demigod like beings who are relatively quixotic in their applications. While I did kind of foresee it becoming an issue two months ago with "Ah, yeah, the mood and tastes of the mods wax and wane with the seasons, I wonder if I should set up a safety net in this to prevent it from being an issue when the mood shifts." it is something that is ultimately left to mystery, because it is not like the moderation staff talk to us ants down here or makes legible their reasonings for anything.
