While not dead it's alien in concept so they could do whatever they want & it would've been consistent to have another version exclusive UB duo sharing a Type along with Buzzwole/Ferramosa & Celesteela/Kartana.

Hell there could even be made a case for Polteageist since it's surrounded by glass similarly to Minior for Shell Smashing.

Ultimately the Typing would fucking SUCK, which seems why they're avoiding itunless they added 50+ bells & whistles like Garganacl.
