It's such an easy way to fix this shit move without making it too overpowered.

That sounds overpowered, just bake Endure into the first turn and make it a manual release so it isn't as predictable, maybe let the user hold it when switched out

Bide is a subpar move when used by the player (still, there's certain fun factor in using it) but it has important role in game design - it's punishing players for brainlessly spamming A and not even looking at the screen.

It really just seems like this move exists to give some sort of high risk high reward gun to incredibly weak pokemon for their early game levels
