Is he actually any good in ORAS? Anyone here ran one
>>59403252The smoggies said he’s like C tier. His shit speed and bulk and typing means he goes second and almost always dies after 2 hits.
>>59403328I think OP meant in the main game.
>>59403402Yeah I got that info from the smogon in game tier list
>>59403252Veggie-plate on the crotch? why? Similar to mega Zaraora, why is that? Does she need that much protection around that area?
>>59403252Would you be able to get a Water Absorb one in main game? You should at least get that on him if possible.
>>59403496yeah you can get the hidden abiltiy ones easily with dexnav
>>59403252You get outspeed by most things and die
>>59403496>>59403328*her
>>59403252I used him in my ORAS run, always liked him but never had a chance to use in the gen 3 originals... but oh man he was certainly the weak link of my team.Mawile in the other hand was pleasant to use because of her mega evolution, I only realized later that while Mawile gets its mega stone in Omega Ruby relatively early (by gym 3 I think), for Sableye in Alpha Sapphire you only get his mega stone in Sootopolis (gym 8) which is an insane difference for counterparts.
>>59403252Spikey Shield is great for chip damage, whereas Sucker Punch makes quick work of various frailmons especially after said accumulated chipShame it's the poster child of The Hoenn Special
>>59403252The games are literally designed to be easy enough that you can use any Pokemon, no matter how bad their stats are, and still win. Just have fun with it.
>>59403328It's C tier because its ability is uncompetitive. If you have a sandsetter it works well.
>>59403252I used one in ORAS and Emerald. Contrary to what most people online would say it's pretty damn good especially in the late game.
>>59403831Sandveil is a very good ability for the campaign.
