It is somewhat fair since if everyone streams then it levels the playing field somewhat. Ugh finally my power is back, here isn't team probably the biggest "surprise" is carry sinistcha. I came in with a plan to deal with pelipper swampy but didn't plan for vileplume, alecremie, ditto. No surprise in which gave me more trouble. I guess the big take away from all matches in week 1 is that the overlooked mons really can outshine the "op" meta mons in the right situations. But damn I'm still spewing over the loss, I felt like I was in a good position in game 3 but I didn't read switches correctly and ditto took the drivers seat away from me, if only I made 1 good hard read it could have been enough to snowball. Vileplume surviving a +1 shadow ball turned out to be huge as well. Ah well on to week 2.

My team for anyone that is curious.Pretty much the same as last week I only switched up 3 moves and only really messed a tiny bit with pult's ev-spread.Charm over sunnyday on whimsi, close combat over a move I forgot on palafin and u-turn over another move I forgot.I messed the most with pult so he could survive the baratiger matchup.I put 13 into def, because I had 13 points leftover since with only 21 speed I would outspeed timid gengar and nothing else would be able to outspeed and off of vibes I just assumed those 13 points wouldn't matter against a scarfer.I taught some mons some pivot moves for perish since I read you wanted to use perish trap in your first match, but couldn't because of the matchup.So I figured you would tty it against me. Though now that I think about it I would have been throughly fucked if you used scarf gengar to fuck dragapult.
I think everything here is pretty self-explanatory. I never used Beartic on the ladder but figured he might've been good as a late game cleaner with A-Ninetails, but Swift Swim was probably the better call. Definitely should've kept Moonblast over AV, though. It would've made those last turns against Ditto in both matches go by more smoothly.

We have a couple of questions that I’m not seeing in the pastebin: namely, how does trading work? Do you have to trade point-for-point (ex. Toucannon for Mr. Rime since they’re both 4 points) or can you bundle trades to completely switch things up (ex. Toucannon and Milotic, being 20 total points, for Chandelure and Glaceon, an equal albeit differently distributed 20 total points)?

My team this weak.I specifically traded mawile and rotom frost for tort and the cat for garchomp and glimm.I had a feeling he was going to run scarf on chomp so I ran the dragon berry on pult.I went for a special pult since it could run t-bolt for gyarados since I didn't really have mon who could deal with it.I was first thinking of running frost, but threw it into the dumpster when I learnes that the only ice type move it could learn was blizzard.I knew I was going to replace typhlosion since eruption spam doesn't work on his team.I was on the fence between replacing it with the cat or tort since the cat could deal with garchomp and rotom fan with triple axel.But opted for tort since I thought I could deal with chomp by using ice punch palafin and dragon berry pult and I was hoping shell smash torterra could deal with rotom by running rock slide.Had brick break on staraptor incase he ran screens with rotom since I didn't have any way to ohko rotom.Ariados was there to lure away any willos/dragon claws and let tort safely setup/let pult attack.I brave birded the cofagrigus spot, because I knew clamsy wouldn't just let me get a brave bird in on volcarona for free so I expected a protect or a switch into glimm.The ally switch just really workesd in my favor, but it didn't safe me from trick roomAnd after the cofagrigus trickroom I panicked into game 2 and let with pult eventhough my plan was to lead with ariados and torterra.In the end I couldn't do a thing.
I was too afraid of the possible Floette and Mega Scrafty, should've expected the all-in on Delphox and picked more accordingly. Simipour would've been way better over A-Ninetails just to ensure a second Fake Out and SE damage on Delphox. Scarf Gard was a last-minute addition so I could add Skarm to the team, as the original plan of using Bearartic wasn't working out well(It's shit). I only realized as the matches were starting how hard Bastiodon fucks me over too once Sneedler is down, so Trick was a stopgap against that and worked perfectly.
