I hate this word, yet nothing descrribes better my experience than it. Maybe is the QoL or the refreshing new designs, but something about it just hits the right spot
person who browses 4chan likes the design choices in a game made by people who also browse 4chan, fucking shocker in less vulgar language, you value the same elements in pokemon games that the developers of clover did. that feeling is the feeling of agreeing with a person across time and space without consciously trying to do it, which happens if you read older literature pretty often. this is why people from the same culture feel a kindred connection with each other even if theyve never met before, because they value similar things independent of one another
