Any Fake Out user, any rain team, any team with a few too many pokemon who resisted fire would fuck up the double Eruption strat and then half my team was dead weight. I couldn't really come up with any suitable replacements either, though I did see some success temporarily swapping them out for Minimize Sandaconda + Instruct Psych Up Oranguru.Still, most matches I ended up going with Overqwil, M-Audino, Glaceon, and Meowstic. Meowstic's Prankster weather control combined with Glaceon's Weather Ball ended up being fantastic against a bunch of teams, especially since the enemies don't seem to see it coming.

I made it to masters in singles and doubles using mostly gen 1 and 2 pokemon and 1 gen 4 pokemon. I was just picking pokemon I liked but I didn't really notice it was mostly gen 1-2 until afterwards. I shoulda replaced the gen 4 pokemon with something else so I could just say I used gen 1-2 as a retarded flex and just to say it's possible but I didn't really think about it til it was too late.
