The clovermons were completely robbed this generation and the fact of the matter that none of the players here seem to care about that at all is just baffling to think about. An important part of /vp/ culture made for once thanks to one dev that spent so much time and effort on them only for the clique devs to do everything in their power to hamper and clip their potential is truly abysmal. Not allowed to be used at gyms or in tournaments because faggots here aren't able to actually articulate how to overcome an obstacle and instead just banning them instead of being real trainers who do what they can to seek new challenges and new pokemon to fight against. Even if there were cool ones with unique gimmicks to them that could have interacted well with the original pokemon no one here would ever know since everyone was just fine with banning them from everything instead of having fun on the for fun server. It also doesn't help that people here seem to care more about the epic original oc donut steel fakemons all because they fnid one of them hot and want to fuck a clown instead of pokemon from an actual fangame that /vp/ actually worked hard to make. If clovermons really do get removed next year then this just shows that these servers aren't worth playing on anymore even though so much more autistic and worse shit got added years prior that were kept around all because jannies said so. I want to gauge interest in a midweek tournament format, reply to this post with any comments you have about it, if there is enough interest I may be able to convince jannies to instate itthe format: Auction DraftPlayers are given some "points" to bid on lots which contain ready-made pokemon similar to battle factory. Players buy 6 pokemon with their points, players that spend all or too many of their points before getting 6 pokemon have to buy or receive a random choice from a second pool of very bad pokemon. At the end of the auction when all players have a full team the tournament starts. Lots are broken down into tiers which determine their initial bid price.

The go to /vp/ixelmon janny response to any criticism is to try to namedrop someone to imply their opinion doesn't matter because they're not in the clique then continue doing whatever insane shit they're being criticised for. You can see from the playercount how that's working out for them.
Every gen there is all this butt hurt about not being in the clique and it's wild because it's not like it's exclusive. If you just play, and socialise like a normal person you will get invited. If you're not in the clique assume it's because you're incredibly repulsive, annoying or weird. And it's not like it doesn't have it's fill of racist and degenerate members so that is really saying something. If you contribute literally anything you will be invited, if you're just a parasite hermit that is too autistic to interact on a basket weaving bakugan fan server maybe you could put that time into something more productive. But of course anyone who bitches about not being in the clique probably won't have the foresight or self reflection to maybe consider they are the problem. It's pathetic that this happens every single year.
