The stat gains for a level 50 Rayquaza would be a mere +2 HP / +20 CP, and have no meaningful impact in raid battles. HP also never changes when mega evolving.

I used my bottle cap to start fixing my 2 star Zygarde, since you get one per account.
That shit's going to have a busted mega evolution someday, since the power creep can only get more insane after Mega Mewtwo Y.

It's a prohibitively expensive unlock for anyone wanting to upgrade their existing collection.
It's a simple "fuck you" player hostile mechanic in the same way that

Whether that's the 7500 energy for the initial mega evolution unlock, or the 5000 energy needed for super max level.

Where legendary Pokémon (candykm20) can earn 100 energy per candy received, and there's a roughly 40km daily earning limit of buddy candies/mega energy, it's possible to get 400 Mewtwo X+Y energy per day if you know what you're doing with exciting your buddy, and walking a shitton (using a phone swing or something).
Which means if you're starting from 0 Mega Mewtwo energy, you've got at least 19 days of buddy grinding to unlock base mega level, or 13 days for super max level.

Would somebody be able to trade a Silicobra and/or Mudbray to me? I returned to Pokemon Go after a long hiatus (since 2018) in order to catch Ground-type mons (eventually, maybe) use in Champions. I've been mostly successful but I discovered it's very difficult to obtain either Mudbray or Silicobra. I've managed to gather a lot of three star Pokemon, including some of the hat event Pokemon from the recent event, which I'd happily trade.

The sad thing is a lot of the time, it isn't someone griefing. They're genuinely fucking retarded and lead with their mega who goes down before the shield goes up. I had plenty of raids today where it seemed like all was last until the idiots used revives on their megas and then we won handily.

If you didn't use the golden cap on your Eternatus or a one of mythical that's actually good you're basically grieving yourself.
A crowned Zacian would also be worth it simply because of its raw utility. It's the best mon in the game overall.

I wouldn't risk putting it on Zygrade tho because there's no telling what they'll do with him once his mega comes out. Wouldn't surprise me if they jewmax by somehow punishing the people who used a bottle cap on their Zygrade. Either by letting you change its IVs with cells, or just letting you catch more and making the one you already have cost 7500 mega energy to mega evolve while the ones you catch have a mega level for free.

Why the fuck are raid passes still being consumed upon starting raid battles.
Rocket radars don't do that, max particles don't do that, and link charges don't do that.

It would fix so many problems if remote / premium / daily battle/raid passes are not lost when you lose or forfeit a raid battle, people would stop abandoning lobbies and the success rate would increase. It would probably increase remote raid pass sales too.
Do people even use premium battle passes for the premium track in Go Battle League? It hardly seems worth it when the free track is already generous, and you aren't guaranteed rewards if you lose any given battle in a 5 battle set.

Shitters might clog up lobbies for DMAX, but they might still be able soak some hits and cheer for hard carries to pull through, and GMAX lobby size makes it pretty much a non-issue.

at lv50, 4 people it performs better with both psycho cut and psystrike, barely behind Y again

the results are conclusive: Party play makes it so that you only need a single mega mewtwo (Psycho cut/Psystrike/Focus blast) for both formes
If it happens to be an already unlocked Y is even cheaper, you get both the etm charged move and reduce half the energy requirements
