I've never been able to play FRLG, HGSS, Emerald or Platinum past the first few hours. They're slow, boring and look like shit. No, this isn't bait. I'm just about to delete another HGSS save at Slowpoke well.

I do this with FR, Crystal and Emerald, that's why they're my favorite games. I'm playing Platinum but the speed up isn't as good so I'm really dragging my feet on finishing it.

There's patches for gen 4 to speed the games up outside of the emulator speed up as well if you wanted to try that. I can't play them anymore without it.
