Do you prefer pokemon marts to be their own buildings or part of the pokemon center?
It makes more sense from a worldbuilding standpoint for the shops to be separate from the hospitals.
might as well put a gym inside the pokemon center
>>59434911Now that you mention it: why the hell hasn't there been a Pokemon center styled gym yet?
>>59434914Because beating pokemon in a place that's supposed to heal them might tell something negative about the medical system in real life?
>>59434833Every hospital has shops inside them though
>>59434932But not in place of a regular shop in the town.
>>59434818I prefer them as their own buildings. Makes more sense from a worldbuilding perspective although i understand why GF fused them together in Gen 5
>>59434818i prefer them as their own building because i like the pokemart theme
>>59434818It's good for worldbuilding, as it makes perfect sense that centers and marts would partner with each other. The marts get more traffic, and the centers probably get a revenue cut.
>>59435405*cut of the revenue
>>59435405I think it can go both ways, on one hand it makes sense that they'd be combined because both services are designed to cater for a certain class of person (trainers)on the other hand, there are established niche cases where people would use pokemon centers or shops independently, like normal citizens who just happen to engage in the odd pokemon battle but are otherwise just regular working class people and stuff like the big department stores where they also sell random stuff that might not be specific to battlingi think a combination based entirely on city size and the diaspora of trainers vs normie in the area is the best but that's expecting a lot
