Then they were replaced by dimension hopping villains and then I think they accidentally put some woman named Rune in there somehow. Then Rune took on the persona of the Puppet Master (that thing) and started datamining everyone's dreams, eventually making plans to fuck over the bad guys but they deleted that data. Because it thought all hope was lost it decided to just overwrite the world with its dreamworld. Anyway we kick its ass and Rune is able to give us the info she "lost" meaning there was no fucking point to the entire meltdown.
