So fucking mad. Opponent won from a fucking glitch. Flygon's passive ping doesn't trigger if your previous Pokemon died with a burn. For whatever reason the burn check just skips the flygon ping? So fucking retarded. Blaziken shouldn't be alive with 10HP, Flygon came out, their turn ended, and the ping just didn't fucking happen. There's no reason the ping shouldn't have initiated. The order of operations in this game is so retarded. I'm guessing the same happens if they die with a sleep check or some shit too, but this is the first it's happened. Flygon is supposed to ping if it's in the ACTIVE SPOT during POKEMON CHECKUP, end of story, read the fucking card. Uninstalling his piece of shit. I'm done.

To be fair, it does matter in the event of something like Ursaluna, who uniquely needs a coinflip to determine whether or not it endures with 10HP or not. It does. The entire reason I spazzed the fuck out here >>59441332 is because on a prior turn I had Vibraba that I sacrificed to do 10 damage to Blaziken in the back. It died to a Castform attack, which knocked it to 0. I was calculating that Vibraba goes down, Flygon comes up, and Blaziken gets 20 damage total that turn. Because that's ALWAYS how Flygon works.

But instead what happened was Vibraba got downed to 0 HP, the game asked to to fucking flip a coin to check if Vibraba is still burned or not despite being fucking DEAD, Flygon came to the active spot and the game was like "okay, Pokemon Checkup is done :)" without triggering Flygon's effect that specifically happens during checkup. The only reason I can imagine that'd happen is because the fucking burn coinflip that shouldn't even happen logically took up whatever slot in the order of operations Flygon's damage should occupy. Because Flygon's damage ALWAYS works when you come up after a KO. The only difference with this interaction compared to every other time Flygon triggers was the burn coinflip. I STILL would have won desu but of course on that turn they copycat into rare candy greninja to put me exactly in KO range. It's just annoying, the game is inconsistent with its "Pokemon Check" phase and there's no real rhyme or reason behind why it does what it does when multiple interactions are supposed to take place during it.

This issue would be remedied with an often asked for nerf to darkrai, where sleep is checked first. Locking status affects forward and "end of turn" triggers to the actual end of the fucking turn would help flygon in niche poison/burn situations.

Why would burn skip checkup? Checkup is the phase BETWEEN turns. I know you're trying to logic how it's not a bug, but it clearly is. There's no slot for Flygon's effect to not trigger. Coin flipping shouldn't fuck up the order of operations in any way. It was NOT my turn when Flygon went to active. It was either DURING the final phase of my opponent's turn or DURING the checkup. In either scenario, the damage should have pinged.

For prosperity's sake, this specifies "end of {player} turn" which is wording that WOULD give wiggle room for Flygon's passive to not trigger.

But if Flygon is in the active zone, it does 10 damage to everything on the opponent's side.

We all know that after flipping a coin for burn, it doesn't then say "YOUR TURN" and THEN ask you to select a Pokemon.

So if a YOUR TURN banner flashes, Flygon is in active before you get to even act, and there isn't 10 damage on your opponent's side, then something was unintentionally skipped. Unless the Pokemon has a damage negating ability/item.

The idea with electric generator is you want to use it in tandem with flame patch so you have even more chance to set up your ramps and get at least two hits off before you lose two points.
