>dont add the sevii islands because theres no fucking point and the sevii islands suck and feel like they were designed by a mexican 12 year old learning rom hacking tools for the first time and what would you even do there you can already catch like 90% of the natdex so theres not even the argument of putting more mons there. you would have to add another facility or something on them to justify it and hgss as far as im concerned has enough content in it and bloating its postgame with even more pointless routes full of trainers with "overleveled shitmon" teams feels more like a detriment than a good inclusion. hgss is fine as it is.

I too have a conniption with balance stuff.
Some people just have a preference for linear difficulty and options feeling equal, but to me that takes some of the flavor out.

Anyone who complains about the level jump up to Clare in gen 2 is seems profoundly unaware that the dragon tamers are supposed to seem tough, and that the RPG wants you to grind. They even put a cave full of ice Pokemon right before it to give you a little nudge at what to do and feel smart for picking the best one for the job.
