Exploration is a chore, base management is not fun, the inventory management is annoying especially when moving stuff around, the storage system for automation feels like it's lacking a feel QoL features, I dislike how gigantic the Pals are in your base which makes it hard to see, base building and decoration is kind of ugly, and the game is more aggressive in wanting you to grind than any Pokemon game I know. Like, the ZA DLC was bad for that reason, and it feels like Palworld is worse. Tying everything to a skill tree that takes a fuck ton of EXP to unlock the later in the game you are is not fun. Made even worse because you can SEE the skill tree, so you just go, "Oh, I see I can unlock this at this level. Then I'm not gonna waste my time using this worse gun when I'll get a better one in just one level above it".
