But that's the wrong target. They should have made this a casual/normie game to get people interested in an overlooked aspect of the series. Instead they just further drive it into turboautist territory. I know loads of women and housewives that like cutesy games like this that let them collect, cater to favorites, and do a little gameplay and would go nuts for the little cutscenes and character interactions. They voluntarily subject themselves to hello kitty tier shit that's plagued with ads every 30 seconds, and even stuck with pogo for years after its peak, just because it keeps mechanics simple and panders to that instinctive drive to raise things. There is a very available market they're not tapping into that would remain loyal for years like Facebook's farmville housewives.

You should be good, there are always others who will miss deadline worse than you. They choose a second wave of winners if not enough respond in time, so you just have to beat most of those in the second wave.

I might even have won last anni's big prize because I had a way shorter response deadline than usual, but I still received the smaller prize even though I responded a week late.
When in doubt, you can contact them via feedback to ask about the prize status but it does take up to 3 months to arrive sometimes.
