I've rolled A LOT of good stuff out of these over the years. For example, the move recolors for the sacred Ninetales holo. And now I've got the holo itself from the premium box.
There's a bunch of low point holos, poses and stuff that you can get for free or using the 6 rolls per day thing (that consumes 2 gems).

I'm constantly rolefilling as Defender+Supporter this season, even more aggressively than other seasons, and it's the first time I've dipped below 50% WR. I'm just getting nonstop teams who lose the mid fight, regardless of how the rest of the game goes. My WR percentage for everything is absolute dogshit. I genuinely have no idea what to do because if I go attacker, everyone else just goes attacker with no regard for the roster. If I go Defender or Support, there's only so much I can do. I just can't tell if I'm playing like garbage and it's totally on me, or if this is the life of a soloQ rolefiller.

I swear the other seasons have never been this bad. I've always been able to maintain at least a 53% WR for every season except this one.

I get the gist behind Palkia (Dragon Claw Pt. 1 -> Aura Sphere -> Dragon Claw Pt. 2) but not only is it's combo a lot less devastating than other combo-reliant mons due to the lack of inbuilt CC, but it's boosted auto that's supposedly supposed to help isn't reliable given it's timer-based and to a meter-build meaning its max potential is locked behind waiting in the cuckshed for your "please help me actually function" button is back online. Even just trying to use this guy in Quick Play is showing that a smidgeon of mobility completely shuts his shit down (though Auroma Park being Mobility: the map certainly isn't helping.)

I haven't played Palkia but from what I understand it's not really a mon that bursts mons down rather it sticks to you while slowly wearing you down with it's continual regen and occasional stuns, and if your team eventually does decide to start attacking Palkia, it can hide using it's unite and if that doesn't work its dash gets reset to even further remove any aggression.

That's kind of the problem though. Its sustain isn't really that good (being tied to hitting the Aura Sphere marked enemy when it can have a hard time even reaching them after letting it loose because it'd preferably use the dash portion of Dragon Claw to approach is just awful, legit feels worse than it just being automatic on Aqua Ring) and it's bulk is just average so you'd think it'd either have big numbers or consistent CC to make up for it and it doesn't really have either. It legitimately just feels like worse Empoleon, given the fact that it has STRICTLY WORSE base defensive stats at level 15 than Empoleon, who also has far more sustain on its boosted Hydro Cannons and Whirlpools.

I think it's ironically harder to balance these single moveset mons, since you need to consider the theoretical second move path that doesn't even exist yet.

Alright I've tried to get Palkia to work for the past few days but it's just not happening, it's damage is too low to make up for it's lack of sustain, consistent CC, and mobility. It's literal only good point is the Unite but that's not enough to save it.

I was of the opinion that Feraligatr's one-cycle potential was its biggest balancing issue so it's nice to see that they're addressing that directly rather than trying to pussyfoot around it. I do think Palkia should've gotten another buff though, maybe to movement speed or making Aura Sphere+'s slow a default trait of the move. It's biggest issue by FAR is sticking to opponents once it gets in to do its full combo and they didn't really address that.

Finally got Palkia and all I have to say is, HOT DAMN it's shit. I lost more games than I can count trying to make it work but can't. It can't confirm kills. Dragon claw is so bad. I try to kill someone with it only for them to dodge due to that delay and got kill instead. And the complaints about it's Unite move are true, it does no damage.

You want to know the worst part. I finally won a game with it, but only because the other team was filled with bots. I'm not joking. They only had two players. The rest were Comfeybots, but because they already had one comfey, the other two bots pick were Mewtwo and Ninetales. This is the reason why no one banned it anymore. It's an automatic win for the other team.

In paper gigaton hammer does more damage but against skilled players who can dodge it's nearly impossible to pull off consistently. You are gonna have to settle for a half charged hammer most of the time.
Smackdown just needs you to hit both the melee portion and the projectile to have damage similar to a fully charged hammer. If nothing else you still have a 2k damage nuke in your pocket.

What do you guys think about Solgaleo? Personally, I think it's going to be bad for two reasons.

1. Horrendous early game. You're going to be stuck as Cosmog and Cosmeom until level 7 so basically, you're going to do shit damage and your moves won't do shit

2. Skill based. Let's be honest, there are going to be players who outright will ignore getting wild Pokémon and think about nothing more than attacking the enemy instead grinding. Your best hope is that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands ON YOUR TEAM!!

Hopefully Solgaleo have a amazing late game to make up for what basically a non-existing early game it will have.

Just go with what you think will make your team more annoying to deal with, it's not necessarily about roles
But of course it's preferred that you have at least a healer, some kind of frontline with stuns, a backline that can rip and secure objectives, and a diver (this is especially important if your opponents have sniper characters)

Basically, don't do 3 really bad things and you'll be fine.
1. Don't defend the t1 goal zone alone while your team is trying to contest an objective. Go help them instead. Losing your t1 goal HELPS your team too, as it unlocks bonus exp, so defending it double screws your allies.
2. Don't make yourself weaker for the final fight and, of course, never ever miss it. This includes not bringing your ult, dying right before, trying to backcap, trying to def your goal zone from an incoming Eleki, anything like that. You NEED to win that fight, it's game deciding. The most important part of the game. Capping 100 points while your team loses will 99% not be helpful at all.
3. Don't gimp your teammates for insignificant gain. When something is much more useful for someone else than for you, even if it would give you a (much smaller) bonus, let them have it. So don't pick up small energy balls that a stacker is trying to use individually to stack; don't steal jungle; don't break a goal zone with 4 points when someone is trying to score 30; if you want to be a really good partner — run away from a mob that will be enough for your ally to evolve without you taking part of the exp.

Lose outer goal, gain 3 Indeedees and occasional birds on your side for free massive exp. Keep outer goal and you compete with the enemy team for lane mobs that barely give you anything. Giving up outer goals almost always a W, you only keep it if that lane has Regice/rock/steel because those objectives are the most important thing to get always so the extra map control is beneficial.

I had a Moltres that went second jungle, runaway from fights and didn't even show up at the Groudon fight. The worst part is that the fucker dare say, Keep up the Pressure while backcapping. Another one was a Latios who did nothing but hide at the goal and refuse to support the fight. I literally seen this asshole run away from the goal just so he doesn't die. Why I honestly don't understand how we are getting so many retards now compare to before. I literally lost 10 games in the row because of bad teammates.

Currently 46.8% WR, definitely the worst season I've had in a long time. Only 60~ matches though, but still. Last match just had two teammates throw, the usual pinging each other thanks the whole match and following each other around the map. 45% and private profile.
