I think I would have liked it better if I unironically did a Normal Route run first and discovered the ARG through the Trae Evos.I also can't help but compare this to Super Pokemon Eevee Edition, which handles similar themes in parallel. The NPCs are aware of the fact they're in a video game and uses that for a pretty standard "save the world from destruction" story. Despite being finished in the 2018, its first demo and foundation was built at least eight years prior. It makes a good contrast between two Pokemon fangames that follow a protagonist with a corrupted Pokemon and meddling with the glitchy bullshit of their world.
