>Kireihana-style Hiyashichuka>by Hikaru Takahashi and Tom Brown>Ingredients: 1 usuyaki tamago, half a cucumber, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 serving of chukamen, half a teaspoon of chukadashi, 1.5 tablespoons of basedsauce, 1.5 tablespoons of vinegar, half a tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, appropriate amounts of mayonnaise>Cut the usuyaki tamago in half, place one half on top of the other, then cut it into long fine slices. Cut the cucumber into long fine slices as well, and the cherry tomatoes into quarters. Mix the chukadashi, basedsauce, vinegar, water and sugar together, then stir the sesame oil into the mix to make the sauce. Next, boil the chukamen, then rinse them in cold water and put them on a plate. Place the slices of usuyaki tamago in three stripes over the noodles on one side of the plate to form Kireihana's three yellow leaves, then the cucumber slices in between these stripes to form the two green leaves. Next, squeeze some mayonnaise on the noodles in two places on the other half of the plate, and arrange five quarters of cherry tomatoes around each to form the two flowers on Kireihana's head. Finally, pour the sauce you made earlier over the entire dish.Get cooking, anons.
