What is the freaking point of Navi and Uruto? They add nothing new to the anime and instead waste screentime. One episode with Duplica would have promote Dito and Pokopia better than Navi ever could. Its like writing staff realized Liko & Roy are too uninteresting to carry the show so they are trying to shove another set of boy & girl pair to replace them.

I tried giving the new show a chance, but it honestly just makes me realize they should have kept Ash around. After 25 years of following his journey, sending him to a new region would have been so easy and kept that classic energy alive. No disrespect to Liko and the new cast, but watching a generic group on a blimp just feels like a hollow spinoff. The anime completely lost its unique charm the second they benched Ash and Pikachu.
The plot and pacing of Horizons is honestly just mid. It feels nothing like the original show, and the writing is entirely carried by plot armor. Roy is literally rewarded for singing a goofy Fuecoco song by basically being handed a shiny Rayquaza after a fraction of the time it took Ash to achieve anything close to that level. The old show actually made you watch the main character struggle and earn their growth over decades, but here a kid sings a little track and gets a legendary dragon god handed to him on a silver platter.
Massive based. Finally someone says it. The pacing has been absolute slop since day one but people force themselves to love it because "shiny dragon animation go brrr."
This. It took Ash literal decades of grinding, losing leagues, and fighting for his life just to get a Mythical Meltan. Roy sings a goofy song and gets a shiny box-art legendary handed to him on a silver platter because of plot armor. The stakes are completely gone.

The series quite literally has three strongest pokemon of three Gen to deal with one freaking core just to make them look weak & pathetic. This series didn't even tried to make sense of anything , everything just happens because the plots says so. Its just the series didn't even try to make a story, it just making up excuses for main characters to get legendary pokemon handed to them even if the series has to butcher the world building and lore of each legendary pokemon to do that. It likes we are watching Liko & Roy's perfect Dream world where they gets everything they wants. This entire series written under the impression that all watcher of Pokemon anime are just attention seeking loser who are so desperate for attention that they are willing to defend something as disrespectful and poorly written as Pokemon Horizons just because Ash is not in the show.
