>>59494288Holy snore
I've largely struck off [special] art rares and those "textured" Ultra/Secret rares. Slowly moving back to a select reverse holos. Gonna purge my large-ish collection
>>59494366I like this card.
I bought my 2nd Japanese PSA 10 this weekend.
>still buying physical
Getting a double swirl on such a small holo area has to make this card over $100 right?
FairyThis is probably my own personal dogshit opinion but I think the glossy coating of the vending cards makes them look cheap/fake and I prefer the look of the Gift Starter deck reprints.
>still grading cards
Literally the best Jirachi card ever created and that will ever be created.
>>59494672Some motherfucka really do collect swirl instead of the cards itself
>>59494898What's wrong with that?
Friendly reminder that vintage is WOTC and the old Japanese backs. Everything else is modern.
I only collect Base Set-Neo Destiny, waifu cards and Wailords
are you supposed to keep PSA cards in the plastic wrap or take it out?
>>59495048Lick them
>still buying modern
Some day I'll complete my southern island set.
>>59494672>>59494907Plot twist: the marker is on the cards, not the sleeves
>>59494672Get to scraping swirlhead
how long does it take for amazon to give the ability to buy pokemon cards or boxes from them?? pitch black has been out since middle of july and it's still sat on waiting to be accepted for me... no one stocks these cards locally, it's literally impossible
>>59495256Amazon has a lottery system. They'll send out invites randomly whenever they get stock so there's no specific time frame.
>>59495256They're getting scalped even inside Amazon warehousesPokemon ain't printing more because they love the scarcity
>>59495276>They're getting scalped even inside Amazon warehousesoh fuck really? you got some news articles or stories or something to share?>>59495274zzzzzzbtw do you guys stand or lay your binders? i have mine standing but i'm thinking of laying them down instead.
Pulled a new nipponese fug for the fug collection :DD
Always double sleeve, preferably Dragon Shield + Cardboard GoldPut in toploaderPut toploader in your toploader binder
>>59495297>double sleevey tho
>>59495281If ringless, standing up. If ringed, laying down.
>>59490199>>59490821Shit's fucked, I feel like CardMarket is more and more for scalpers or "investors" than just your average fan / collector. Big boys are obviously pricing £180-£200* on this. I'm turning to eBay for it now, prices on CardMarket are either way too high or they have damage on the card (and still ask way too high lol) and are coming from somewhere in Europe which means I gamble on how good the seller packages it and how well it gets handled across land/sea/air.I want this card for about £140 max, happy with £100-130 and sellers in my country are all asking £150 minimum on cardmarket.com unless i go to other countries, but then i'm paying £50 import tax because i'm not buying a card for more than 100 quid and having it arrive in a paper envelope after coming all the way from hungary or some shit.*180 GBP: About $242.94 USD190 GBP: About $256.44 USD200 GBP: About $269.93 USD>>59492198>>59495101It's kino, in-fact the 2nd post mentioning how it's like a stained glass window made me appreciate it even more. I'm so happy I don't give a fuck about pikachu, i'm more of a collector that tries to get his team that he beat the games with, anything other than that is just cards i like or 'bulk' in the binder.I'm gonna bite and go for one on eBay I think, this would make it my most expensive single card purchase thus far. I think it's worth it!
>>59495357Hmm or I could try my luck buying a whole box for about the same price as just one card.... wow so this is where pokemon card collecting gets deep huh... What do I do...????
>>59495358Modern ETBs and booster boxes have trash rates
>>59495367Why
>>59495297Sometimes my cards get loose in their binder slots. I wonder if I double sleeve them, they will fit more snugly, or if I should just invest in new binders.
>>59495358the odds of an SIR is like 1/80, and getting that specific SIR are like 1/1000buying the single is better, you 100% get the card.
>>59495377The hits rates after Sword and Shield are abysmal, with only a handful of sets like 151 and Scarlet and Violet being generous
>>59495357could be regional differences but ebay is more expensive than cardmarket for me 99% of the time
>>59495358if you believe you're lucky enough to get it out of one of those 11 boosters then you might as well play the lottery and win millions.
Is that even a she? You can't be too sure with SV trainers.
>>59495357I wanted to buy a couple waifu cards on cardmarket but the shipping to my region is more expensive than the purchase itself and some of them are out of stock because of fucking "investors".
>>59494288hehe guys it's my birthday/raise/wanted to treat myself so I got myself 300+ packs to open hehe no I don't have a gambling problem!!!
>>59495631based
>>59495631You sound bothered for some reason.
>>59495631if you enjoy a hobby then thats all that matters, whether it's games, pc parts, or cards: if you get enjoyment then it's worth it.
>>59495612>>59495591>>59495585>>59495543>>59495530guys i fucked up bigly it turns out i've spent £1,700 on cards without realizing it until i checked my credit card account today and now i have only £209 left for the rest of the month... I am gonna hold off buying that card for now....You guys understand right? WHen you're new to a hobby or you're shopping online it's just click, click, click, happy, yay, and then woops 1,700 gone just like that and i don't even have much to show for it oh fugggggggg i was paying all kinds of shipping fees and got ripped off on some prices for cards and ebay too fugggg :-DDD it's so joever i'm unemployed oh well another 1k monies in the bank next month then i can buy more shit again.. xDD
I only buy ~20 packs on an average week.
>>59495631Funny thing to post on a scalper thread.
>>59495652>You guys understand right?No, i'm not a retard.
>still samefagging
>>59495667He's salty because he doesn't get allowance.
>>59495357get the Japanese version, its like $120 USD and the texture is amazing
>>59495652>you guys understand right?I spent about $5000 on cards (literally two cards) this month, and as a result, I’ll cut down on frivolous spending for the next month or two. But I don’t think I’ve ever gone on some sort of card gooning spree that’s left my bank account plundered without my realizing it. I definitely do understand the impulse, though, where you’re new to (or have reinvigorated interest in) a certain thing, and it consumes a bunch of your attention/money for the first few weeks. Anyway, I really hope you’re not buying a lot of packs. Easiest way to turn a dollar into ten cents (if you’re lucky).Pic not particularly related: some shiny cards I found over the weekend.
>>59494806Got this same card from when I was a kid, sadly my past self was stupid and it's not in the best condition, but I'm still glad to have it.
>>59495048Me personally, I ditch the plastic sleeve and instead put them on one of those gradedguard or maybe a magnetic slab case if the card is especially valuable. And I have one of those storage box made to store graded slabs, bought one made by gradedguard themselves. Never wrong to be extra careful with you collection
>>59495750>$5000 on cardsFilthy investor
What do you humans do with your dupes/cards you don't care about? I saw a group of kids at the mall earlier today while opening packs and gave them a bunch of leftovers since I only really care about ex and secret rares.
Mail day!
>>59496010If they're non-foil and actually useless (in large numbers), I use as tinder for fire (lets be real here there are billions of those "useless commons", and IDK who would bother owning them if most people want full-arts, foil, etc
Sold my fullarts, and Im going back to BW,XY-era reverse holos, I think they're neat
>>59496040Holy text. Honorary Indonesian cards
>>59496004I got a really good deal (20% off) on my long-time grail, and so I just bit the bullet. Something I’ve wanted since 2016, and it’s always been just a bit too expensive to justify buying. But it was listed for a “good” price (at least for this fucked market), came with a 20% off deal, and it had a nice holo pattern. I figured this might be the last chance I had to buy it, and I’ve regretted every past opportunity I had but didn’t take, so this time, I just did it. It was twice as expensive as the last chance I had to buy it, when I put a lowball offer in on an auction.
>>59496104Honestly, these two are some of the cleaner indo tag team cards if compared to their english counterparts. On the plus side, it still has that japanese print quality
>>59496040Are you actually Indonesian or just really desperate?
Calling swirlfags…any takers?
>>59496163More like I'm not desperate enough to pay the current bubble prices for cards that I like. And now I'm here to spread the gospel of indonesian cards; english names (and some moves), nippon print quality folded 1000 times, and (most importantly) sane prices
>>59496209How much is the difference between English, Jap, Yuro, Chink and Indonesian cards?
>>59495750>all this shit>doesnt display it >doesnt play the gamefake and gay
Im just happy i got the cards i wanted and left the hobby. Its not fun and you can't even talk about it with normal people like you can MTG.
>>59496236I don’t know what you’re alleging, but I’ve posted multiple $2000-5000 cards in these threads over the last couple months.
>>59496228From what I know, that Mewtwo Mew tag team card, for example, the Indonesian one that's a PSA 10 is about five times cheaper than the Japanese and English versions (the English one has really shot up in price lately). Chinese cards are usually even cheaper than the Indonesian ones, except for Chinese exclusive promos. As for European cards, I have no idea since I'm not really interested in them (they're the same quality as English prints and have fully translated names, moves, and card elements)
>>59496209Yeah, but my cards are all real and not Indonesian
>>59496296you can still sell foreign cards if there are willing buyers if that's what you're wondering on
>>59496296Reminder that there are no recorded counterfeit indo cards even to this day, the same thing can't be said about english and japanese
>>59496301I’m not talking about exchange value. I’m talking about use value. There’s an ineffable quality present only in English and Japanese cards that mark them as True pokemon cards. Everything else may as well be counterfeit. What does anyone (save the French and German respectively) feel looking at a base set “Glurak” or a 1st edition “Dracafeu brilliant”? Nothing, because it isn’t the genuine article. It’s a compromise, and you’ll always feel that compromise. >>59496304If you have the resources to counterfeit pokemon cards, why would you use those resources to print Ind*nesian cards? Of course these counterfeiters are going to fake the actually desirable cards.
>>59496329>ineffable quality Value that now is mostly set by neckbeard scalpers and get rich quick grifters. As far as genuine article, both the pokemon company and the grading companies treat all card languages the same. If I were given the choice, for the same money, I'd rather buy mint copy of a base set euro card than an old beater english version of the same card
>>59496364I don’t know what to tell you, man. In the same sense that I’m not going to buy a damaged or unlimited card (assuming a 1st ed counterpart exists), I’m also not going to buy a card in Urdu or Esperanto or something. It’s not about the “value” (for all I know, Hebrew or AAVE cards are undervalued). I just don’t have an interest in “lesser” cards
>>59496407Love the legendary collection for these starlight holofoils. Wish we got more. Would have been so cool to get some neo cards with the original holo patterns
>>59496329I've seen you seethe about french and german names for ages now.Is it some kind of inferiority complex you're coping about? Some day you'll realize that the English names are just as fake as German, French, Korean or Chinese if you follow your own logic of hating localization but somehow your fried brain tries to cope about it by seething about any other language that gets posted.
>>59496485You must have me confused with someone else, as this is my first time commenting on the subject.Part of the reason English cards feel “real” to me is that exact subjectivity you’re mentioning (and of course they’re the most sought after, so there’s that, too). So I actually don’t think there’s anything wrong with or weird about collecting, say, German cards if you speak German (and I suggested as much in the comment you just replied to). But if you’re buying up cards in some obscure language you don’t even speak just to save a bit of money, you simply must reevaluate your priorities.
>>59496533Maybe I did mistake you but the Charizard-Glurak example gets brought up every time in those posts that act like English is the one true language for Pokemon
Hey all, im new to the hobby. Im looking to get out of crypto and move into pokemon tcg. I want to put around 10k on some investment grade cards to start. What would you guys recommend?
>>59496633bad bait
>>59496633Buy a single PSA-10 Fan Club Porygon and sit on it for a decade
I feel guilty for buying so many cards in a short period of time but it feels like whenever I hesitate I get punished, every card I'm looking at just gets sniped.
>>59496720Are you the guy who started like three weeks ago? Just be patient: save for super rare promos, you’ll always have another chance before long.I also think we must be due for a “correction” within a year, just like the post-pandemic correction.
>>59495246based but absolutely fucking wild, you madman
>>59495246>>59496750Yeah, this is absolutely pants-on-head retarded, but I can respect the dedication
>>59496040How much does the Indo mews cost raw?
>>59496533NTA, but I buy cards in obscure languages because they have a better print quality. The perceived "value" from the reddit crew doesn't bother me. I'm not even from an English speaking country. What does bother me however, is investard pumping any and every language so now even chink cards are expensive.
this is the idea. open an etb/some bundles or a box.then buy singles. otherwise you get a metric ton of bulk. also, there are ascended illustration rares under 20 bucks while a pack of ascended is 20 bucks.
>>59496867>but I buy cards in obscure languages because they have a better print qualityYeah, that’s when I buy Japanese.
>>59496867>I buy cards in obscure languages because they have a better print qualityI buy cards in different languages because they're cheaper lol
It should, It's the best trainer card since Carmine.
Should I even bother staying up for this Target drop or am I just going to get memed on again

>>59496040What a waste of art, absolutely drowned out by cluttering text
>>59497087Depends on what you want, as these past few weeks there was no big rush getting pitch black and chaos rising ETBs and packs.
>>59497408Try to compare it with the english version
>>59496887Ascended Heroes have dogshit hit rates, buying an ETB or booster bundle is literally burning your wallet away even if they're plentiful and available at MSRP.The only sets more dogshit and peak ultrajewish are Prismatic Evolutions, Destined Rivals and Journey Together.
Is there a decent Pokemon equivalent to MTG's Delver Lens? I sold out of the game 4 years ago, but my brother-in-law asks me for solutions to tracking his collection.
>>59497610>sold out on the cusp of pandemic boomgeeg
>>59497626Meh. I did well with Celebrations and Evolving Skies, but dropped collecting as a hobby to focus on other things.
>>59495652No, but I have been stupid with money before in overspending for the month. I don't think I've ever hit $1700 in one month though.>oh well another 1k monies in the bank next month then i can buy more shit again.Sounds like you learned a valuable lesson from this experience. Seriously though: Please be more patient and careful with spending. Use your time to learn more about the cards and prices so you can be a better spender. Don't give into FOMO or hype investors online.
Hecking love cheap SAR
>>59497690$13 with shipping fyi
Keep scalping while I buy fresh cards straight from the booster pack.
What's the point in rares that are numbered outside of the index?
>>59497712Those are secret rares. They're secret because they're not officially in the index, get it?
>>59497712Before internet exist we get the joy of finding out the 'secret' card by ripping them ourself
>>59497712It was a cool novelty to learn about a secret dark Raichu in the first Rocket set, without reading about it months in advance on the internet. Now you have sets with 100 regular cards and 50 """secret""" rares, it completely lost its meaning, now it's just a way to say "up until this number it's just bulk, please only consider the secret ones when you rip packs".
>>59497690>>59497692With those rough edges and small surface scratches no wonder it was $13 with shipping. Also notice a very small ding from second pic
>>59497720Yep, great ain't it?
remember when sets only have 2-3 secret rares at most?
>>59497690>>59497692Ridiculous gimmick cards. Are people really going to be interested in the Crystal Hat Pokemon years from now? It seems so chintzy even now.I still can’t believe the card chosen to represent modern as a collectible (and maybe more significantly, an investment opportunity) is a gimmick card in Moonbreon
>>59497929The only good terastral card is, in my opinion, the shiny charizard one. It works because the shape and color of the crystal hat blend well with the design of shiny zard
>>59497826Link to this?
I should buy some singles during the summer slumber...
>>59497958Some of the eeveelutions are good, Leafeon is my favorite.
I've made a rule to only buy one box of any set I want, but there's 30 years of cards to catch up on...
>>59498008There are plenty of well-framed and illustrated Hat cards, it’s just that they’d all be better without the stupid-looking gimmick.>>59497958They’ve also done everything they can to hide the ridiculous hat. Most of it is tucked away behind text boxes and relegated to space outside the proper illustration “window,” as it were. It’s as if the designers themselves are ashamed to have to include terrastalization.Pokemon just needs to drop its desperate generational gimmicks more broadly, but it really sucks when these gimmicks bleed into the TCG.
>>59498014Start with a box of 1st edition Neo Destiny.

Walking in to a card show of $80 of spendable funds makes me feel like a fucking bum. Thankfully I have about $500 worth of cards I could potentially sell. I think I'm going to forego buying big cards and just look for cheap cosmo holo promos with swirls on them.

Anyways yeah the impulse is sure strong! Also... Won't these cards kinda be gone forever? I mean there's only so many cards in near-mint on the site, in my country, selling, once those are bought, they are gone for who knows how long until someone else puts a card up for sale, i mean some of these cards came out last year, or the year before, or 6 years ago, or even further back depending on what you're buying and looking for... I'm kind of treating it as though it's a limited quantity, so have to buy now, obviously I know there's not a limited amount, but there's not an infinite either... Impulse is strongly driven when you think like that... "I have to get this card now, beacuse only 5 people are selling it" i mean maybe it's beacuse i'm in the UK or I don't want to always buy from europe... For example one card I bought from germany, card was £16.79 but shipping is £50... Good job I like that card, it's pic reland yeah i've been watching shorts, videos, non-stop, the logan paul stuff, the vendor povs, even asmr girls opening packs... it's addicting.

>>59501203It's always the protect and mega while they hope for sleep to go off (that toad is getting flinched)
>>59501216yeah fat chud's getting fake'd out
>>59501040The artwork is brilliant, but that pikachu face should be a bit smaller and lower, so the 30 is visible at least.I need to try get a pack or 3 of these 30th boosters,or even something bigger if I can. Or have scalpers and the investors made it so you fans (and people like me) have no chance?>>59501060This is a good one, withut much text near the pika face. And cool af art.
>>59501257>Or have scalpers and the investors made it so you fans (and people like me) have no chance?30th anni will be scalped to oblivion even if TPC prints them to the ground
>>59501257from experience, evolutions was very easy to get and so was celebrations. but we're not like 5 years ago, much less 10 years ago. there's so many scalpers that I think even if the 30th is being printed to hell, you have little odds of getting it at msrp. you will be able to get it at 1.5-2x price. your best bet is getting a pokemon center drop.
>>59501257good news, every 30th pack will have 1 of the 30 pikachus. so getting these shouldnt be too bad. an ETB is 9 pikachus (or 11 from poke center)
>>59501289Just hope the specific pikachu you want isn't the modern scalper slopper fomo's chase. Though I'm guessing it's going to be the stairs Pikachu.
>>59501271Bastards they are. Big sellers will have teams and or bots trawling the web looking for anything that can be pre ordered.>>59501285I can pay a bit extra if needed, would hurt to do it. Just need to look and see what's about when it releases. Everywhere online now that does pre orders are all sold out. I'm in a little town in the north of England with some mobility issues (and financial), I can only do small things. But would be great to have a look at a big shop one day, I've seen some on vids over here.>>595012892 packs would be great.
>>59501285is it really that bad now?my most recent experience was 151 and i bought lots of etbs, 2 booster boxes, 6-packs, tins and master set the whole thing at msrp
>>59501315get some notifications set up for UK Pokemon Center drops
I bought some beautiful perfect adorable little children!
>>59501316>my most recent experience was 151things have changed drastically since then
>>59501315since every pack has a pikachu I wouldn't expect the pikachu subset to be expensive as singles. so these shouldn't be too hard to find. the other rares may be a diff story, depending on drop rates.
>>59501316yea it got way worse with prismatic evolutions. 2023 was still manageable, it was still the lull of early s/v that scalpers all exited out of. eeveeolutions brought them all back and more. nowadays you can't get any product except for perfect order/chaos rising/pitch black unless you pay 2x msrp minimum. those 3 sets just have less desirables to the public and scalpers/investors are saving money for the 30th.hey, it let me buy a sir mega floette ex for pretty cheap so I can't complain.on the other hand if you are good at dealing with the pokemon center and notifications, you can hit limit x product of most sets at msrp.
>>59501324>>59501331holy fuck thenkill all scalpers
>>59501331Pokemon Center is basically a lottery and filled with bots
>>59501337if, and I mean only if, you're lucky enough to wfh and have twitter/discord notifications on, hitting the pokemon center drops isn't so bad. you get on the website from your pc within minutes of the notification and you're usually guaranteed stuff. you can randomly crash and end up in the back of the queue if you're unlucky but it hasn't happened to me yet. haven't tried it on my phone because I don't need to and don't want that much more product.
>>59501322Holy spike feeder
If you came from 151/25th anni/Crown Zenith/Obsidiot Flames then you must know that the hit rates have been lowered starting from Paldea Evolved (the set with shiny Mew in a bubble) and its awful ever since. You cannot experience buying an ETB and getting those le heckin flying Charizards/diving Blastoise/Venusaur in a forest garden anymore.
>>59501348that's paldean fates but eh I just buy singles afterwards. if I hit I hit, if I don't too bad onto the next set. I don't want master sets just mons I like so this is way easier on my wallet.
>>59501331yeah I got the floette too from a pull, also the SIR for AZ isnt expensive and also has floette, pretty nice pairing desu
The only way to beat scalpers is to mass produce god packsImagine getting a couple packs that has different 30th anniversary Pikachus and 1-2 of the major hits
>>59501325It would be great to pull 1. Buying the singles is ok, but not the same as pulling, and I've only done 1 pack. Think S&V. I have a T&T 2024 pack coming but only 3 cards. Bought a pitch black booster, but think it's a scam, buyer had only 1, then I bought it, and 2 days later he has only 1 again (may have bought more, but sus), same thing as when I bought it "in 3 baskets". Meant to be here tomorrow at latest and he hasn't even posted it. Checked reviews, most are for buying, 2 normal responses, then 3 auto response reviews, also weirdly has these 3 watchers or in 3 baskets on his items.Yeah bet he's done me, the bugger. My fault as well pitch black at almost retail? Oh hell yeah. Big fat nope. Glad it's not anything expensive, but I think ebay refund quickly? I hope, but then I hoped to be pulling cards today or tomorrow. Got some singles coming so things aren't too bad (unless 1 or 2 are wrong cards again (got a 25th anni surfing pikachu instead of a pidgey gym challenge card, and it's kind of cool, so I kept it).
>>59501207Sorry, late reply.I know from playing the game (cobblemon not proper) pokedex is the index of caught mons. Are you doing one for the ones you caught while playing? That would be quite cool, especially if you've been at it for years.>>59501319I'll look into it, thanks.
>>59501367Based off the rip n ship streamers opening packs in Australia, that aint' happening. It's more like evolutions than celebrations with new hits instead of 99% reprints. And the hit rates seem like your usual modern set.
>>59501374genuinely how did you end up collecting Pokemon cards if you don't even know what a Pokedex is? It's in the games, the manga, the anime, everything.
>>59501322>>59501347Dude belongs on a spike
>>59501382You shouldn't be surprised. Most people into Pokemon cards don't know what a Pokemon is and are only in it for the money now.
>>59501367The only real way to beat scalpers is the make packs to order.
>>59501387Scalpers will just order 50Overprinting godpacks mean that scalpers lose shekels on mass buying everything Hits investorshitters too since the "chase" cards will have little valueThere's a reason why there's a bajillion Blue Eyes White Dragons out there
>>59501382Well I vaguely remmeber watching the anime, but that was over a decade ago, and remembered a couple of characters, so thought I'd look into cards (as I'd been watching card sales from vendor POV). And some of the artwork is great on these cards. Plus I need something to do, I'm not working nor going to get a job in the future and had to drop some hobbies like fishing (multiple sclerosis doing its thing, immune system thinks some parts of my brain are infected so it attacks it and things don't work properly now, gone from walking to hobbling to now using a stick, next thing is a wheelchair.) so just stuck being poor and bored. Too thick to into crypto or investing, so just having fun on my way out.
>>59501402Almost 3 decades, I remember (sort of) things from the late 90's, I was almost an adult. I remember Pidgey, rattata, and maybe remember couple bulbasaur charmander. Didn't see any of their evolutions, as at that time I was heavily on class A drugs. Drugs took over, and byebye childhood memories. Buying things back now as and when I can, SNES and some games, PSOG and a few games (mainly wanted tenchu back).
Am I crazy I like having some value on my cards even if I don't sell them. Not current prices but 10 years ago prices. I wouldn't want pokemon to become like ygo where every card except the current meta deck is worth 50 cents each
>>59501257>I need to try get a pack or 3 of these 30th boosters,or even something bigger if I canironically it is this exact sentiment that makes it so the scalpers will take it all. Everyone wants it and way too many will pay whatever it takes to get it.
>>59501411The cards itself are 50 cents each, a small price to pay to kill scalping and investing in Pokemon forever
>>59501411>I wouldn't want pokemon to become like ygo where every card except the current meta deck is worth 50 cents eachwhy? that's so much better
>>59501374I'm just looking to complete one generation at a time by looking through bulk just because.
>>59501411people think they do then there's like 10 collectors on the ygo side because they reprint everything you own until the most recent overframe craze, but they may reprint that too. it's a case of you think you do but you don't.
>>59501411I have some that are worth like £20, but that's it, and as a newfag to all of this I don't have anything I bought that went up in value. But mad how I have a cardboard box, with a couple of binders with cardboard cards worth a couple hundred pounds or so. I'm late to the party, but still having fun as I'm not spending big (for a poorfag) amounts of money on a single car.>>59501412Supply and demand, but not from the manufacturer, it's fans and scalpers. Chain goes manufacturer to scalpers to investors, and crumbs for fans.
>>59501322Why can't you losers buy cards of adult women like normal people?
>>59501457Adult women are just children who grew up.
>>59501457They're not as sexy.
It's not crazy to talk to the cards is it? I've just been sat here talking to myself about wanting a new 3x3 binder but fully clear sleeves so the backs can be seen.Anyway, I managed to get another card, the one that was accidentally replaced with a pika 25th surfing (not bad cool even if I get a 30th pack), then I re bought and realised I bought a dupe. 3rd time lucky hopefully.
Can we stop taking about Engl*sh m*dern slop?
>modernSlop>vintageAlso slopFor me? It's future cards. Yeah... the Browt SIR is so sick... you guys are gonna love it.
>>59501513>It's not crazy to talk to the cards is it?You might want to take your meds.
>>59501541I don't know anon, pokemon centre lady (nurse) said I was ok. I trust her so will just see what happens. Thanks though.
bros are you ready for the chase of the 30th to be this fucking ugly shit in red/blue/green?
>>59501547Doesnt look that bad desu, as long as it doesnt have the ugly fucking stamp.
>>59501547No, since those aren't real.
>>59501547Not your bro, Mexican.
>>59501553oh they're real and you'll see once more than just aussie cucks get access to these packs.
>>59501411>>59501414Brand new cards shouldn’t be inaccessible and ungodly expensive. Pokemon needs to flood the market and dispel the illusion that modern cards are a worthwhile investment
>>59501457This is still cringe and degenerate (at least the embarrassing gooner cards), but at least it’s not immoral.
>>59501572This. No modern card should be more valuable than vintage unless its some kind of event exclusive promo.
>>59501547This is truly foul
>>59501552>the ugliest most noisy, visually-incoherent shit anyone has ever seen>”not that bad”>a set stamp>”worse than hitler”Get your eyes checked, nigga
>>59501586Yes, the stamp is literally worse than Hitler.
>>59501690I like the stamps :^)Though maybe they could be better implement on full art cards
>>59501579They should reprint tons of WOTC as well, starting with the meme lizard, all of the Legendary reverse holos, final evo Gym Leader cards and all of the Shining and Dark Pokemon
>>59501835These sets were all effectively printed to demand back in the 90s and early 2000s. They’re expensive now because they’re nearly three decades old and relatively few copies were well preserved over those decades. But back then, you were never paying $20 for a pack currently in print. Nintendo (or the pokemon company or whatever else) needs to print modernslop into the ground, principally to gut scalpers and “investors.”
>>59500451shut up chastity case faggot.
>>59501857they are opening a whole new factory to print more but that kind of thing takes a long time
>>59501835No
>>59494288My Chinese eevee terastal gathering gift box arrived Did anyone else here buy one of those or just me?
>>59501967I don't buy anything Chinese.
To the guy shilling Indoshit. I don't believe you when you say that anything other than Chinese is printed in Japan.
>>59502011>>59502011They fucking post it on the website. This isn't conjecture from uninformed idiots per the usual around here.https://support.pokemon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001421466-Country-of-Origin
>>59502112This doesnt mention Korean which isn't printed in japan.
>>59502011Thai language is dog awful because it looks like pajeet scribbles. The asian languages worth collecting are jap, indo, and maybe chinese, just because it's the cleanest art wise
>>59502163If you bought indo packs, there's a made in japan line on the back of the pack
>>59502169Indonesians are such a meme, especially on 4chan, that I could never take any cards in that language seriously.
>>59502169>>>indo nice try seabro but imitating roman alphabet while writing gibberish is not collectible. jp>>>cn>kr
>>59502112So Chyna, Korea and Indonesia prints their own cards too?
>>59502186No >>59502173
>>59502179>cn and kr above indoLmao
>>59502199yeah, you don't need to post garbage to prove to me that cn and kr are above indog
>>59502204>still this delusional Oh lawd>cnForever have that cheap sweatshop stigma (although have clean art on cards)>krNot even printed in japan
jp>cn>en>anything else>kr
>>59502199>pemain dapat membuang paling ooga booga banyak ping pong>collectibleYeah I know it's SEA hours but lol what is this garbage.
