It's probably to do with it being a Dark Type, but one who is not evil. The yin yang is telling you that although Absol may appear evil outwardly, behind all that there is a seed that is pure good (or something, idk)Absol has black magic and powers linked to tragedy and misfortune, but it chooses to use its evil powers for good purposes
