>>59504293I recently watched a video of a guy playing through white, and I did notice a lot of weird dialogue. The point of the dialogue is to progress the plot and explain motivations for the plot, but for a pokemon game considered "the best story", it was a lot of it seemed more contrived than I expected. I played the game once years ago for a casual playthrough, so like 30 hours, and didn't remember it being so, awkward? It's a kids game so I really don't care, but if gen 5 was the best story pokemon has to offer, I wasn't that impressed.

You can easily fix text with a rom, but there's no real reason to.These recomps are just hype trains to give us something we've already had for decades.

I highly doubt you are nowhere near as competent as the (arguably low bar) nintendo/gamefreak/pokémon company/whoever writers, and we are talking essentially of what a tumblrina would write in the world of Pokémon.
