I have a massively unpopular opinion but there should be Pokemon championship tournaments at local card shops and elsewhere for people to win cards, booster packs, and boxes. Why not reward die hard fans than allow scalpers and resellers to run amok? These are the people who continuously support the series like no other

Bad matchups are psychic box and the other single prizers but I feel like any non psychic multi prize decks you have a good shot at. Spent months messing around with tech cards but I feel like the normal list with a meowth, hariyama and the unfair stamp is the best. If you go second and get solrock oks on turn one it’s pretty hard for them to come back. Dunsparce is a meme but having access to the ex makes psychic matchups better although it makes everything else noticeably worse

Most decks have trouble keeping up with lucario but with a psychic one shotter you can place it down, crispin, and then phantom dive for 400. Clefairy might still get used but you can't play around mew like you could with clefairy so it's worth looking into at least if lucario is popular still when we get our sets

Round 1 in locals today, my sharpedo faced a festival lead. I was already joking about how my night would start with an L. Oppo managed to have a slow start (shaymin active, couldnt do shit for 2 turns). When he got an attacker it was fish, so it couldnt KO even with 2 attacks. I Boss'd his only apple, twice. 3 monkeys bench but only managed to get them live for one turn the whole match.

Just started playing, decided to learn the game with the dragapult deck you get in the beginning in ptcg live because it's the best guy apparently. What's the best way to spend in-game credits? Should I be saving for future events or do I buy something in particular to get crafting mats?
