Were these some of the best “secondary” legends we’ve had in a while?

These aren't Legendary. The only Legendary are the ones on the boxes.
>>
We're getting a Chyna region after Indonesia
>>
>>59520058
Most of the others have been pretty shit

Probably the best secondary / sub / minor legendaries since the Regi's
>Uxie, Mesprite, Azelf are arguably the worst in the franchise, copy and pasting themselves into worse Mews
>Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus barely get saved by their Therian forms, but still don't fully redeem them.
>Kalos had none
>Tapus basically cannot be animated to do anything but float there.
>Glastier and Spectrier are just horses

I loved them at first sight. They give the feel of old gens pokemons thrown into the modern mix of nu-gen jobmons. It’s clear that they wanted to try something different with these ones or they were afraid to upset the chinese community if GF made them too nu-gen like, I don’t know. However despite the different style for which you would expect some lore dedicated justification, they feel quite abandoned to themselves, just slapped there in the games out of nowhere
>>
>>59520087
I like uxie, mesprit, and azelf specifically because they feel like sub mews.
>>
>>59520073
ah yes, pikachu and eevee, my favourite legendaries.
>>
>>59520058
No, fourth, all though that isn't much of a compliment

Sacred Beasts > Regis > Legendary Birds >>>>>>>>>> Treasures > Tapus > Lake Trio > Legendary Birds again > Poison retards > ugly sword horses > Healthy Genies

>Elementals from haunted artifacts
why are they not Ghost types ?
>>
>>59520321
Putting them below the Legendary birds is crazy ZMA are virtually pointless as Legends.

swaggggg
>>
>>59520335
It's the nostalgia effect, outside Zapdos legendary birds look like regular pokemon
>>
>>59520058
I am a big fan of famous PokéTwitch streamer Wo-Chien.
>>
>>59520087
So what's wrong with some mythicals looking like each others exactly? Latias and Latios have the same problem. The lake spirits are fine imo
>>
>>59520291
aren't they like cursed gifts a merchant offered to the Paldea king many centuries ago? It's more lore than many legends
>>
>>59520312
legendary shitmons
>>
>>59520949
Lazy. The regis look like each other but they aren't copypasted. Learn the difference.
>>
>>59520058
Yeah, they're pretty good
I appreciate how wildly different they look from one another, unlike some of the other trios we've had before
Wo-Chien in particular is a super great design

imagine holding onto those eye horns and face fucking it...
>>
>>59520058
Genuinely never encountered a single one of them during my playthrough. I heard you had to find some shit to awaken them but I didn't find those either.
>>
>>59522163
You need to remove stakes from the map, 4 four every legendary and then you'll open the seal protecting their respective caves. You can find them via history lessons in academy, I think?
>>
>>59520058
>a goldfish with houndoom's typing
No

she doesn't have leech life, there's no worry
>>
>>59520073
They are what I call Local Legends.
Not really powerful like a Ho Oh or a Lugia, but important to the local culture of the region they reside.
Like Ogerpon or the Galarian Birds.
>>
>>59522211
Bodied that disgusting piglet freak
>>
>>59520291
Wtf are you talking about, they have a crazy amount of lore for nugen secondary legendaries
>>
>>59522173
Thanks but I sure as hell am not coming back to SV. But I do like the designs of some of those
>>
>>59520058
Yes, sadly.
I don't know, I feel mythicals have been losing power ever since gen 4 started to throw legendaries everywhere.
After a while, many felt tackled onto the game at the last minute.
But these guys felt really "mystique."
I don't know, they truly felt like strange monsters, weird beings that come from an era forgotten by men.
Just look at them:
>A big ground snail that grows from Earth itself
>A stone bull carrying a broken utensil with heroglyphlics carved on them
>A snow tiger, created out of the hate of a broken sword
>A fire fish that literally lives underwater without going out, ever

These were the few Mythical Pokémon that truly felt like monsters in a long time.
>>
>>59520058
It's not a very high bar to cross, but nah.
>all forgotten except the cat (mostly thanks to furries)
>the people that DO remember them don't remember their names... except the cat
>their names are all in fuckin' Chinese, which doesn't help that whole thing about nobody remembering their names (other than the cat)
>the only one that looks like it COULD be a Pokemon is the cat, and maybe the fish
>cat's the only one with a cool gimmick people liked, where it's a hate-filled broken sword possessing snow to give itself a body, and the broken sword ends up being the "teeth"
>locked in the endgame in a game mostly only NPCs played, and most NPC normalfags didn't finish the game, and requires a whole extra "side quest" to even be able to find them
>catered to China at a time when people were pretty pissed at the chinks, and don't even fit the game anyway, causing a lot of people to ask why they're even here
>based on a story nobody outside of China's gonna know
Nah, these are probably the second worst; the worst ones are those two fuckin' horses, they look unfinished, incomplete. They ARE incomplete, but that's not a fuckin' excuse. Being locked behind an overpriced DLC didn't help.

I can't pick a "best", the problem with these sub-legends/mythicals/whatevers is that they generally just show up in the games and get caught without any fanfare, and then they get fleshed out in the anime or the movies, which don't really have the same "pull" as they did back in Pokemania, so not as many people watch them as they used to, and that means a majority of people wont really know jack shit about them and view them as box fodder.
Also I haven't watched most of the movies, I think I've only watched the first one, the one with the horny Latias, and the Lucario one.

>>59520058
Lore's simple yet pretty cool and the battle theme's decent, but that retarded fish will never grow on me. The other three have amazing designs but Chi-Yu really brings down what could've been a 10/10 quartet.

The cat does seem to be the most popular one, think they also gave it the most merch with things like a plushie, rings and the funny scarf.
>>
>>59522211
>"heckin"
stopped reading
>>
>>59520949
When you have three of the exact same ones in the same game that already has too many legendaries then it sucks.
>>
>>59520058
The Regis are the only good "secondary" legends across the entire franchise
